Dirty and a fake
Ordered through Amazon Warehouse but unfortunately received a fake that was grubby and had been used (a foreign coin and a mucky tissue in the front pocket!). After receiving it, I had concerns it wasn't genuine so did lots of research online and identified that the one I received was a good copy but there were enough indicators that it was a fake (buttons not the right way up and really poor quality finishing inside). Obviously Amazon were great and sorted it out, just a salutary warning to watch out!

Perfection in its simplicity
I had considered getting a Kanken a few years ago, but decided to go for a more traditional city backpack that would have better padding for the back and shoulders, as well as some more space. And now that I finally got it, I realised how wrong I was!My main use for my bags is just carrying some essential stuff when out and about in the city (like a water bottle, an umbrella, powerbanks and chargers, a couple of books and notepads, a lunchbox, my work uniform etc). That stuff fits comfortably in the Kanken and there is still enough space for some light shopping, even though it looked impossible when I first saw it.Here are some things that really make this bag so ideal for the city:- The size and the shape. Due to the maintained square shape you can stack thinks on top of the other with no fear of them getting all messy, compressed or make the back use uncomfortable.- The deep side pockets. By putting my umbrella there I save so much space from the interior! The front pocket is also useful, but kinda small and typical for a backpack, as well as the "laptop" sleeve.- The thin shoulder strips! It is funny how I saw this as a disadvantage, because it proved to be such a good choice eventually. Being on the move in a city with little time and space at moments (like when commuting or shopping), I often find myself at situations where I have to hang the bag on one shoulder and while walking or checking my phone. With my previous well padded bag this was a nightmare as it could only stay at this position for seconds before falling down. It is also easier to wear over layers of clothes and makes me less sweaty. Oh, and by the way it is not uncomfortable at all!- The big and sturdy hanging strips. Another genius choice. No need to describe, anybody with a backpack in the city knows.- The fact that the zippers open such a big part of the bag. Resembles a suitcase, makes organising or just finding stuff stored at the bottom so much easier. Also these are some great quality zippers.Summing it up, this is the epitome of a well thought out product. Even though there are no crazy hidden compartments or much to talk about, the designers have managed to solve all the basic problems anyone could come across, in a way that nobody else has. I could only wish for a bigger side pocket that would hold my 750ml reusable bottle, but oh well.

Exactly as described.
I'm a KS1 teacher and frequently take folders and a laptop (13" mac) to and from work. This bag is a perect size, and, due to it's very rectangular shape, has not crumpled my loose sheets of paper. This is brilliant as though I love my other backpack, the curved top meant my paperwork often got crumpled on the corners. I would say that though my laptop fit very nicely inside, I wouldn't put it in without a sturdy case as the bag has no padding at all, anywhere. I bought this bag expecting to do exactly that as clearly frmo the pictures, the bag has no padding. The straps are more comfortable than I expected, but are essentially just 'strapping' material, which when heavily loaded and carried on bare skin probably wouldn't be so comfy. There are no internal pockets. I really like how the zips open basically the entire front pannel of the backpack, meaning I can easily 'slot in' and layer up my essentials. This bag is exactly as described and in my opinion is certainly not fake. The material quality is good, sturdy, and the colour is true to the picture. I chose graphite as this is not too 'dark' but also won't show marks too clearly.

Beware; Fake bags being sold.
I bought this backpack at considerable expense for my daughter.I am returning it as it is a fake. Not something I expected from Amazon! It was a good fake, looked genuine to me, but my daughter pointed out a number of things like the Swedish Royalty coat of arms on the label was one colour whereas with a genuine bag it has several colours.I would be wary of buying from Amazon again.

Lovely bag just not for me.
Althought this does not state for children it really did give a child like vibe off and as a 32 year old man I thought well this really does not suit me at all. Excellent looking bag mind you! I do still like the look but when I wore it I just felt like I was going to school! The material is also not very luxurious so I would advise to check one of these out in person before plunging for the purchase!

Lovely bag
I received this bag as a Christmas present and I am really happy with it, the colour is lovely and the fabric is nice and crunchy. It has a reflective logo and fits all my books in. Definitely recommend.

Not a new item
This bag arrived with no tags. It had dirt marks on the back, and the pad inside had bite marks in it! Clearly this was not a new item, though this was not indicated. Needless to say, I have returned it.

More space than expected. Straps uncomfortable though.
Bigger than appears. Managed to fit a 14” Dell laptop in the compartment. Plenty of room for other essentials and still under Ryanair small bag size limit.Straps very thin and a bit short. I imagine wearing this for any length of time will get pretty uncomfortable.Love the retro look. Takes me back to the 80’s school days when everyone had a canvas backpack.Great little bag. Ideal to take onboard with your laptop etc. This won’t be going back.
