Weber 7444 22-1/2-Inch One-Touch Cleaning System Kit for Grills,Silver

They don't make them like they used to. Having used Weber products for years, I was surprised that this part failed after only 4 years use. Whilst the new parts were easy to fit, the old one had completely seized up and had to be filed through then prised off using a combination of screwdrivers, etc. Took approx 30 mins to get it off. I will need to keep an eye on it going forward to ensure that the replacement does not do the same. New one works perfectly though, and it is great to have that control back!

Great quality. Reckon it should outlive my 30 year old Weber. Very easy to fit, once you've prised off the old rusty one it's a replacement for...and it's a perfect fit too. However, I do think it's on the expensive side - but what choice do you really have...quality costs!

Although this is supposed to be for a 57cm bbq the blades can be cut with tin snips to fit a 47cm bbq.Make a paper template of the old blade & transfer to the new larger blade & cut excess metal away & trim up the edges with a file.

Very easy to replace the old broken element. The only other items required are wd40, a monkey wrench, hammer and screwdriver to release the old rusted part.

Better than the original system on my ancient bbq. Easy to fit provided that you follow the instructions.

I bought a second hand Weber 57cm and the cleaning system was rusted and broke when I tried to move it. I bought this replacement and I now have basically a brand new kettle. I can control the temperature so much more and can close all the vents when I’ve finished and gave charcoal left for next time.
