Loft & Outdoor Digital TV Aerial, SLx 27887K4 4G Filtered 32 Element Aerial for Digital TV, Silver

Like most people I always read a number of reviews first both negative and positive. I'm surprised at the negative ones saying it's difficult to install, out together or lack of quality for outdoor use. It's definitely more suited to the loft which is what I bought it for bit the quality is just fine, it goes together easily and nothing was bent. I wouldn't say I'm the most practical person out there not by any stretch but love anything to do with audio/visual and this was easy to set up. I live in a new build so the coax like others was already laid which was a big bonus, hooked up the coax as per the instructions and mounted in my left with supplied bracket after getting a TV signal app to tell me which way to point the aerial. Job done and the picture on HD channels is flawless. Can't fault this. Cheap too. I'm not sure what people want from an aerial but I've had zero problem from start to finish with this.

I have given it five stars because I couldn’t give ten! That is in spite of the fact that it arrived in a damaged box that had been very badly treated by the carriers. Amazingly, it was all intact.I use it 30miles ENE of Crystal Palace transmitter, and mounted in the loft (see photo)200 meters away between us and the transmitter is a mobile phone aerial that seriously blocked our Freeview HD on the main TV downstairs, which gets its input from the aerial on our chimney, we had to spend £11 on a 4G filter so that we could watch Freeview in HD.This SLx aerial comes with a 4G filter built in, so that’s a saving for a start - and it works perfectly - all HD channels are crystal clear.Assembling and fitting the aerial was a dream, but best done in the loft, as others have said.The instructions are comprehensive and clear, assembly is simple. As you can see from the photo, I tucked it in the loft, where the top roof timbers help stop any movement. It bolts onto the hardboard flooring, so it’s all solid. It’s necessary to make absolutely sure that when wired up you MUST check that no filament of the shielding wires touch the central wire contact. It is easy to miss this if you’re not really careful. I imagine this might be why some people say it doesn’t work at all.I have read that some find the aerial flimsy. I honestly can’t describe it like that. It is light, but it is extremely well made.I highly recommend this aerial, and I paid full price for it, so I don’t have any incentive to praise it.

After spending over an hour on the various online websites for an aerial which didn't break the bank, yet was fit for purpose. I came across this SLx product. Under £20 for a 32 element 4G TV aerial with all the cable, clips, brackets, pole, required. You can pay £15 just for the bracket from certain retailers. My order was placed Wednesday evening and arrived early Friday morning. The product came with clear, easy to follow instructions which enabled me to assemble the product within 4 minutes. I was installing the aerial for my Aunt who wanted to watch TV in her downstairs bedroom. Once I had climbed up my ladder onto the roof the process of drilling four holes into the wall and securing the bracket took exactly 8 minutes. I did however pass over on using the supplied rawplugs & screws to secure the bracket. Not because they where of inferior quality. Because I had recently erected a satellite dish at home and the anchor bolts I purchased to secure the satellite dish where very heavy duty and I was told that the satellite installers locally use these all the time, and the bonus is you do not require any rawplugs. Just drill a 5mm hole and the bolt just screws straight into the brickwork. Plus there is a bit of a windtrap above the bedroom, and I just wanted belt & braces.Once secured to the wall I used one of the many TV aerial apps on the Playstore to line up my aerial correctly. And my Aunt was soon enjoying her favourite programmes on her TV.The picture and sound quality was perfect and all of the digital channels where there for my Aunt to enjoy. Also being 4G there is no interference from the newly commissioned mobile signals.In closing you won't go far wrong to purchase this product which even included the Rf Coaxial plug.In all including sorting out my tools, ladder, erecting the aerial, clipping the cable neatly, aligning the aerial. Only took 35 minutes. A solid value for money product that I will purchase again if and when required.

This is a superb aerial for the loft. Haven't a clue what it would be like outside as it's slightly flimsy. I tried an indoor aerial first and it was absolute garbage. I live in a fairly high signal area, I just roughly pointed this at the transmitter where I thought it was looking at other houses. I get 100% signal strength and signal quality. The only bad thing about it is the fastener that holds the rear clamp to attach the two rear booms was utter garbage and unfit for the job. I had to have a look in my garage get a decent nut and bolt. Not a big deal, but some might return it for such a minor sloppy part. Also due to my house being a new build with deep insulation the bottom prong on the rear boom is under insulation. The pole could do with being longer, or I should've raised it with a piece of wood or something. It doesn't make any difference to my situation though so I'm not bothered. People might try and mount it a different way than on a horizontal roof joist like I did. Great product for not much money.

Unfortunately it arrived with one of the elements broken as the construction is very flimsy, it was also very fiddly to assemble without breaking more bits. We installed it in our loft which means it's protected from the weather, i don't think it would last long at all if installed outside. Having said that now that it's in position it seems to work well, giving us a decent, stable, signal.

Buena antena... fácil de armar y de instalar..Pilla todos los canales...No la veo endeble como en otros comentarios... evidentemente sí la colocas en lo alto de un edificio con los aires, lluvias y altas temperaturas terminará rompiéndose... pero eso sería cualquier antena.

Sono molto soddisfatta dell'acquisto fatto.questa antenna ha praticamente sostituito la vecchia classica antenna senza bisogno di chiamare un tecnico.facile da montare e si vedono tutti i canali io la consiglio vivamente

Habe lange gesucht das richtige zu finden. Produkt hat mir zugesagt. Funktioniert wunderbar. Habe einen sehr guten Empfang und das ohne einen aktiven Verstärker. Doch warum sind bei Neuware Schrauben verostet? daher einen Punkt Abzug.

Mise en place rapide, réglage au doigt mouillé (car pas de visibilité depuis les combles) et ça marche du 1er coup et nickel sans faire d'autre réglage.Alors que je me suis battue pendant plus d'une heure pour essayé de régler mon ancienne antenne que j'avais été obligé de déplacer...Bref une bonne surprise et je suis très satisfait.Par contre privilégier l’installation en intérieur ou sous un toit à l’abri du vent car c'est très "tchip"

Anfangs machte sie einen ganz Vernünftigen Eindruck. Nun nach knapp zwei Monaten Nutzung lässt die empfangsqualität massiv nach. Mit einer einfachen Zimmerantenne habe ich den gleichen schlechten Empfang. Ich hatte mir durch diese Außenantenne deutlich besseren Empfang erhofft
