A good product at an affordable price.
This is a roll up chess mat. About 14 inches by 14 inches. Convenient size. It is good quality. The carrying tube is well made although being of cardboard construction. Keep it dry! Mat has alpha numeric figuring clearly printed. A simple product but just what I was looking for! Nigel Moore.

Portable Chess 'Board' in Cylindrical Container
Highly convenient and transportable. Unlike the case with some travel sets this board is full size and marked with modern square references so that full size pieces can be used.. The material soon smooths out when laid on a flat surface. Care has to be taken if for any reason you need to turn the board around with the pieces still resting on it. If appropriate, it's probably better to swap places pr transpose the pieces! Whoever developed the idea was certainly thinking outside the box (though another container will still be needed for the pieces).

This is very disappointing. The material is too flimsy, and does NOT lie flat, even when contra-rolled. It has kinks even before being used, DO NOT BUY!

It could be cheaper
The good thing about it is, you can fit it in a suitcase but the bad thing about it is, the corners stick up and if your chest pieces are not heavy enough they can slide off.

Tapis échiquier un peu cher, mais très joli utilisé avec des pièces échec en verre. Prend peu de place dans son rouleau de protection. Expédition rapide et emballe soigné. Je recommande.

He leído que a algún cliente le ha llegado doblado en cuatro con daños muy visibles en los escaques centrales. Creo que el vendedor también lo ha leído porqué me lo ha envíado enrollado y muy bien protegido, lo cual es de agradecer. Tengo una mesa de madera con una base de cristal que se coloca encima, y he puesto el tablero entre la mesa y el cristal... con unas piezas con base de fieltro, auguro una larga vida al tablero, jeje
