I got this clock for my dad who just moved into assisted living. It has multiple display settings but I just put it on the white writing with black background. I love how it shows the date, day and time in large, clear print. It is very helpful. It has battery backup and will remember the information when the electricity comes back on, or if you are unplugging/plugging it in to change the location. It can be hung on a wall or it can stand like a picture frame on a table, which is how we have it. I will probably get myself one at some point. Great clock!

Great large read, not overly bright clock with specifics of Day and Time of Day for elderly, retired, dementia, head injury clients. Nice choice of colors to not stick out in room specifically. Especially helpful was time of day ( morning, night, etc.) for sleepless father to read and know it was still night and not breakfast or dinner time.

Easy to read at night. Although the brightness can be adjusted, but if adjusted to be too dim it is difficult to see. So I leave it on medium bright

This is a great clock for seniors! When each day is similar to the next, it's easy to lose track of the day, etc. This clock keeps my MIL oriented to the time of day, day of the week, month, and year all at a glance. The clock is illuminated and easy to see.

I spent so much time deciding which one of these types of clocks to buy. This one was a great choice. You can see it from across the room. The numbers and letters are clear and easy to read. You take it out of the box and plug it in. It instantly has the correct date, day and time. Easy peasy. I had bought one as a gift but had to order one for myself the same day. My only wish is that it ran on battery as well as electricity.

Useful clock with all the information displayed. You can choose different colors for the text. The only thing I don’t like is how bright the “black” background is so it can’t be used in a bedroom. I put it in the kitchen where it’s the nightlight. It requires two nails on the wall to hang it up, and of course a power outlet nearby. I gave one star rating for “brightness” although it probably should be five stars since it is quite bright.

It arrived one day later than we were told, but that wasn't due to the seller. Amazon Prime said 1 day delivery but that's totally not a problem, I'm sure it was due to our awful weather. What do we love about this? It's super simple to program with the buttons on the back but in our case it actually arrived correctly programmed to the date, day and time as soon as we plugged it in. It is SO NICE to get up in the morning, head to the breakfast table and voila, it tells us exactly what date, day of the week, morning, afternoon, evening or whatever ... also the month and year. May sound simple but at our age (69 and 73) during post-covid times when days often assume an alarming similarity, this is wonderful. It also offers multiple alarm options which may come in handy down the line for human and veterinary medications.Though we don't have it in the bedroom I think it's really good thinking to make it so it dims at 7:00 pm and brightens at 7:00 am. I got up at 6:30 this morning just to see and yup, it works. Personally, I like that it's not battery-operated, it's a plug-in cord. I appreciate the value of batteries but I can't keep up with changing them all the time with our multiple devices. Last but not least, it's pretty good-looking, not fancy but why would you want fancy? Overall, we're extremely happy and hope it doesn't disappoint us by breaking down soon but I don't think it will. If it does, I'll revise my review.
