Half the time you push the plunger it doesn't make any noise, you can just hear the air coming out weakly. Don't bother with this one

Wanted these as back up on a boat. Two for £5, they are a little cheap in build quality but what do you expect. Each unit comes in three parts, pump, diaphragm head & horn. The horn is a push fit into the diaphragm head (spot of glue recommended) and the head in turn screws onto the pump. One pump had a very poor screw screw thread and in truth they would last long if you keep screwing/unscrewing the head anyway. I've glued all of the component parts together. They work extremely well and be warned, these pumps are extremely loud. Good value for the price.

One of the two ordered works very well, giving a long loud blast sound with only one use of the pump, but the other only produces a very short blast despite frantic pumping - not what is required for its intended purpose as an emergency warning.

I stupidly didn't read the description and thought this was one of those gas airhorns it turns out it's actually better than one of those because it never runs out I have had a lot of fun with this and you have to get one if you are a 45-year-old going on 12 like me !! Watching people's reactions to this is priceless the fun just never stops even when they know you have it you can still catch people out ,I have a lot of fun at work with this !! Well worth the money ! I brought this product at full price and I have not been paid to review .

Well i have to say this works a hell of a lot better than i expected, some of the reviews had me doubting what i had just bought, and for the price i didnt expect much. I bought this for use while out at sea as a signaling device if i need to draw attention, I fugured a gas less system would be worth a try so i didnt have to rely on gas if i needed to use it. Dont get me wrong, its not an extremely amazing product that was made of high quality materials, and will blow windows out with the sound, No. It is made of cheaper materials but it is still good quality, the weakest part of it would be the hand pump at the bottom. EVEN if that hand pump part broke, you can still blow the horn part using your mouth, even lung power works, can be pretty much used just like a trumpet if need be.Would certainly recommend for the good price of just under four quid

An extremely cheap air horn but not particularly well constructed. Loud enough but not that smooth an action on the plunger.
