Perfect for running repairs, but do a test run first
The best points of this stuff is that you get a HUGE amount of vinyl to carry out repairs with in the box, and a goodly sized tube of adhesive too.........you would have to share your tub on a regular basis with a porcupine to get through all the material quickly! It is very very good stuff, and the adhesion of the glue to the patch to the hot tub is superb, but cut out a patch and test it yourself first before you go straight to the tub.........the adhesive has the ability to make the vinyl patch you cut out curl up and it suddenly become very hard to handle. The adhesive is also rather thinner than I had imagined (after repairing bike punctures for decades now!) and will almost trickle off the patch.Make sure as well that the area you’re applying the patch to is clean before you apply the adhesive covered patch and you should be good. Finally after one of our cats sank a claw through the top edge of our tub we didn’t want to drain the whole tub so I tried an experiment...........it IS possible to patch an inflatable hot tub with air still in the liner and water in place 😁

All patched up
This seems to work well.We bought a fairly sturdy Intex 6ft pool earlier this season, and we are extremely pleased with that following the spells of very warm weather.Although, I thought the Intex material for these pools was superior to the average inflatable kiddie pool and cleaned it too enthusasitcally with a crude garden brush.Four punctures were the result. The pre-supplied Intex patches were no good - they easily pealed off and/or still let air slip through. So I figured I had to pay up for a more permanent solution. Also because following a beach holiday there was a selection of punctured inflatables waiting for repair. This glue and patch set did the job quite well. It sealed all holes effectively and quick. Although I had expected more of a welded-outcome - perhaps the plastic type of our pool doesn’t allow for that. Yet the glue and the patches stick well if you apply sufficient initial pressure. And importantly, once dried up, it doesn’t let air slip out around the edges. And although I wasn’t able to get very smooth edges everywhere (there are some areas where it peeled up), a little additional glue secured it more properly. I should also say that the copious plastic patch wrong-footed me initially, as I started cutting a round patch but only found out after gluing that I had cut two patches from two thin almost glued together sheets. No instruction sheet is included but some decent instructions can be found on the packaging (full of typo’s though).Next to the the very large included transparent patch sheet, the tube of glue is quite generous; I’ve now repaired 7 patches, but if the glue doesn’t dry out, I’ll be well-supplied for the next 40 years.Haven’t tried, but apparently this works as well underwater in a filled pool. All in all quite pleased.

Save your self a fortune
This product is amazing. The cat nearly jumped into the hot tub but managed to save her self so created a few small tears in the hot tub lining (Not impressed with the cat) this product came within a few days which was longer than normal to to Amazon prioritizing orders due to Covid-19. The product came with a free bar of chocolate. The product it's self come with 2 vinyl covers, glue and a cotton ball applier even though this is useless after using it for the first time. The product itself was easy to use the hardest part was locating the smaller puncture holes. The product hasn't since deflated and have stood up to the test of times with little ones in and out of the tub and the heat being on all the time. I havent tried this product under water yet hust when the got tub was empty so can't comment if it's good in relation to underwater adhesion. The vinyl don't look out of place unlike older style puncture repair kits and unless you knew where the vinyl patches have been applied you wouldn't know. Overall I have used the product for other uses as well so definitely a recommended buy to save yourself some money.

Great kit - repaired a hot tub which I thought was too damaged to survive! Saved £249!
We were given a badly repaired hot tub for free - Lay Z Spa Miami - only used once but kept deflating. I removed the old repair patches by heating the glue with a hairdryer and pulled them off. I used this kit to repair the hot tub whilst still slightly inflated- and with quite a lot of water in it as I needed the shape of the tub to get the patches to sit right. I used an old holiday inn express door key card to help spread the glue, patches took straight away! Definitely follow the instructions to the letter and this works. The damaged area on the hot tub was extensive - I think a dog jumped up and caught it with their claws as there were several holes and tears. I used a bag of flour to weight the repair site down. Plus a house brick balanced on the outside of the cover. Fantastic kit, highly recommended - just make sure you follow the instructions!

Brilliant stuff!!
Well it certainly worked!I’ve got a Lazy spa Hawaii which sprung a leak about 6” from the bottom on the INSIDE! It turns out one of the seams became detached after my 10 year old thought it’d be a great idea to use the edge as a trampoline & a water slide🙄, after draining the spa below the leak area I discovered a bunch of pinholes on the seam, I set about to patch it up with this product & it actually worked.Easy to use but make sure you apply the patch at the hole & work it to the edges to expel all the air. First attempt I failed miserably with loads of air so I pulled the patch & applied another, but this time I applied glue to the tub & the patch, voila no air & a perfectly applied patch. I left it an hour re-filled the spa & inflated it to just below full inflation pressure. 5 hours later it’s still held, happy days😄. The real test will be after several uses but I feel very confident.
