Product Description They’re armed, dangerous...and downright crazy. Buckle up for an adrenaline-fuelled, action-packed thrill-ride starring Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Sharlto Copley. Convicted by a military court for a crime they didn’t commit, a daring team of former special forces soldiers must utilize their unique talents to break out of prison and tackle their toughest mission yet. It’s going to take guts, split-second timing and an arsenal of explosive weapons--this is a job for The A-Team.Special FeaturesOver 90mins of additional content including; • The Devil's in the Details: Inside the Action with the Director • Deleted Scenes • Gag Reel • A Team Theme Mash Up Montage • Plan of Attack • Character Chronicles • Visual Effects Before and After .co.uk Review Give it up to the A-Team: they've always been good at demolishing things in big, big ways. Freed from the confines of the 1980s TV series, the 2010 blockbuster movie version allows the four members of the paramilitary squad to really amp up the mayhem to newly crazed heights. Liam Neeson plays team leader Hannibal Smith (inheriting the cigar-chomping from the show's George Peppard), and pro wrestler Quinton "Rampage" Jackson is "B.A." Baracus, the TV show's most iconic character (insert Mr. T "I pity the fool" joke here). As the vain Face, Bradley Cooper preens in convincing fashion, and District 9 out-of-nowhere star Sharlto Copley plays the unhinged pilot "Howlin' Mad" Murdock. These boys are on the trail of some money-counterfeiting plates, from Bagdad to Germany to places in between. It would be understating it to say that the plot is not of primary importance, although Patrick Wilson has some fun as a CIA official and Jessica Biel occasionally strikes poses as Face's ex-flame, now a military officer displeased with the A-Team's extra-legal shenanigans. The storytelling is insipid and half-hearted--but when it comes to snarky dialogue and two-fisted action scenes, director Joe Carnahan is in his comfort zone. It's reasonably fun watching the working-out of such logistical puzzles as dropping a tank (with crew inside) from a plane, or scattering the main characters on a dockside as cargo containers rain down from a ship looming above them. Good times, although is it asking too much for certain basic laws of physics (if you drop a human body ten stories, for instance, it might actually sustain injuries) to be used as a guideline? But worrying about such matters isn't in the spirit of The A-Team, which cheerfully ignores the petty concerns of credibility and logic. --Robert Horton

Collect. then call again...
Yes...A-team are back and fiercer than ever - along with some quandries that beats them sometimes too. The film is tight and considered in most of its ranges then it runs all over the place with its staging, giving chance for some tools ops and energies, gears entrancing up their infrastructure. Whoever lays eyes on them messes to the end of days always engaged somewhat expelled. The approach to being 'outside-of' is dealt with quite a brace of world ordering and restructuring as they go all out with evidentery exemptitudes, though they get their blame all to meanings depths. Then there the characters are sounding of with greatness, though not immediately accounting well you can guise the peoples here with great capacity, all brought into a modern world with higher orders refined. A great mix of madness, with several elements you won't see outside of mercenaries acceptable confines, their here and there to stay away with in adjetating times.

50% of a good movie
There's 50% of a good movie here. In fact, everything is 50% of what it could be, really. The characterisation is 50%. The rambling and overlong story is 50%. The onscreen chemistry is 50%. The action set pieces feel oddly dull and unexciting—50% of what they might be.The impression I got is that everybody was doing this somewhat begrudgingly to pay off a debt, or something like that. Perhaps they signed up for a different movie idea, and it got switched to this late in the day, so nobody was entirely happy. There's a weird vibe. Nothing's what it should be.It's the characters and chemistry that are the major failing. Liam Neeson is epically miscast as Hannibal. It's worth mentioning that George Peppard was also miscast in the TV show, all things considered (a charming romantic lead playing a grizzled colonel?). But Peppard in such a role didn't matter because it was just a TV show. A small screen doesn't need filling as much as a big screen does. And Neeson just fails to fill anything. Not even his trousers, which look like they may fall down at any given moment. He looks weedy. In the same cream shirt as Peppard, he looks like an photocopier repairman who got mixed up with some soliders of fortune (and I suppose they MIGHT need their photocopier fixing on occasion).Another big issue is that it's impossible to care about the characters. There is a commendable effort to give BA a back story. But it comes out of nowhere and therefore makes little sense. But this was a move in the right direction. Just like Spock was the more interesting character compared to the heroic Kirk in Star Trek, it's BA in the A-Team who had the most promise for back story (never delivered in the TV show, of course). If I could go back in time, I would tell them to make this movie BA's story arc. Start with him and his origin story. Let him find Hannibal. Give him a struggle to overcome. End with his vindication. That would give this movie some much-needed heart and soul. And there's also the fact they abandoned most of what made the A-Team so unique. They aren't soldiers of fortune. They don't fight for the cause of others in order to restore justice (spoiler alert: they fight for themselves and to enact revenge).Although they do make things out of found materials, they never get trapped anywhere and therefore have to use their ingenuity and engineering to get out. I mean, come on! That was the pay dirt each week—the reason why we watched the TV show! They had one simple task: Take what was great from a TV show, and put it on the big screen. What they did was take nothing but the characters and... Well, make a mess. It could've been so much better.

Mindless fun
Just what I wanted for a Saturday evening - a group of actors having fun, blowing stuff up and a decent interesting story.

A big surprise blockbuster
Like a couple of other reviewers on here, I also saw the trailer for The A-Team at the cinema and thought 'hmm, I might have to give that one a wide berth'.Having been on a long flight recently though (I ain't getting on no plane - which is actually a double negative, so I did get on the plane in the end) with limited viewing options, I selected to watch the A-Team and I absolutely loved every minute of it.In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I ordered the blu-ray upon my return and must have watched it a stack of times over the past few weeks, enjoying it more and more with each viewing. It is just excellent fun with some fantastic action sequences to boot! Some of the dialogue between the main characters (mostly involving Murdoch) is also genuinely extremely funny. From another big fan of the 80s tv show, it was just great to see such an excellent conversion to the big screen and a reminder why we loved these characters from the original series. So, hang your brain on a hook for a couple of hours and enjoy the one of the best movies (for me anyway) of 2010.

Un-missable
I remember, the original A-team, and was made to suffer regularly when my brother watched it. Just as I made him suffer with my girlie programs. Now, being older, I appreciate a good action program or film, so long as it's more than just flying bullets and explosions. This film does it for me. It has the explosions, but it also has the story line. The humour doesn't go amiss, either. I took my stepdaughter, who doesn't remember the original, and she loved it too. So i'd say it's good for those who do remember the original, and those who don't. My one small complaint, and it's only a tiny one, is that in the trailers for the film, there's a scene where B.A is cleaning windows on a tower block while loading his gun. Whilst doing this task, he's whistling the old theme tune to the A-Team. I thought this was funny. In the film, however, he's not.Despite this faux-pas advertising, I enjoyed the film so much, I am ordering the DVD for my husband as a Christmas present. This way, I can watch it again myself without using precious space on my own christmas wish list. Ha Ha.

Spoilt by LACK OF SUBTITLES
Good film, liked the re-imagining of the classic TV series. However, please Amazon Prime, stop releasing films with no subtitles. It's not exactly a new technology. Your rival streaming services have subtitles for every film. Deaf and hard of hearing 'viewers' need them so much and you can't always crank the volume up to maximum if you have neighbours or sleeping children. Please.

Idioma latino
