BADGER Airbrush Paint Mixer BA121

I've had this a couple of months and wonder why I didn't buy one sooner really. Much easier and more thorough than a manual stirrer, especially if thinning paint for air brushing or reviving those old paints that have sat for a long time and settled.Mine although ordered from Amazon UK came via the US so I had to wait a short while but it was significantly cheaper than the other UK sellers.

Perfect tool for mixing medium into larger amounts of heavy body acrylic paint to thin it down Doesn’t create too many bubbles. I say it being used in video by fluid artist.

eModels are a great firm and always supply items on time and well packaged. The paint mixer is ok and does the job well especially acrylics but on humbrol tins of older paint mixing takes a bit longer but still much better using a cocktail stick. As has been mentioned on a previous post fixing the stirring head on the shaft is a bit of a bind. Overall build is a bit basic but it certainly gets the job done.

Brilliant piece of kit, it does what it says on the tin so to speak, and it's made by Badger, yes there's a few out there to choose from but I'm pleased I bought this one.

I have hundreds of paints. Some of them had separated and gone a bit clumpy so I thought I'd give this a try.Works very well indeed - even on whites that have turned into cottage cheese. Just add a few drops of flow improver or water, put the mixer into the pot and after a short time the paint is like new again.The end fits GW, P3, Humbrol and Tamiya. It DOESN'T fit in dropper bottles. Army Painter, Scale75 etc however.

I've had my original Badger paint mixer for over 35yeas . it was time for a replacement. Thankfully Badger remained fathful to the original design , no frills , does what it is designed to do. Perfect.

Blends great for smaller amounts and easy to use and clean. What many people may miss is that the instructions say to remove the batteries when not in use. While a pain to do, I think this will extend it's lifespan.

So far so good, it's great for mixing up those really bad/old paint containers - the head is small enough that it fits in all the paint bottles I have. Works especially well with the Dirty Down products which I can never shake enough to mix thoroughly. Cleanup is super easy, I just put the mixing end in my rinse water and give it a quick spin and let it dry off.
