Cracked teapot
The teapot was cracked when we received it. It was still together, even though it was cracked, so my daughter didn't want to return it, but sad about the quality. The paint also leaves much to be desired. There's no way you could paint the set like the one pictured - unless you have some really expensive brushes and do like 20 coats of this kind of paint. But my daughter loved it for her 6th birthday!

Cute and Fun
This is a very cute tea set to paint my4 yr old granddaughter absolutely loved it! Did knock off a star because the purple paint cup was unusable as it was all dried up. Luckily enough other colors to choose from and the little tea set dries to a beautiful shine also fun for little ones to play with knowing they made it :)

Cute set!
Super cute! I bought this for my 18 months old son, he loves making “coffee” for everyone! Did not use the paint as I was looking for a white set. I highly recommend it.

Parents- Read This. Potential safety concern.
I'm giving this item 2 stars for a couple reasons. I'll outline them below. Parents, you'll definitely want to read this.1: the pieces don't quite fit together. The teapot wobbles, the top doesn't sit straight, little things. It doesn't effect the overall utility much, but it does speak to the quality of the pieces.2: the paints I received were a joke. They were dry and crumbled (I didn't intend to use them, so I was going to toss them either way but they were utterly unusable). The one or two colors that weren't dried out are very low quality paint. It's a cheap set, you get what you pay for.3: the paint takes a week to dry??!? Now, again, I didn't purchase the set with any intention to actually use it for its intended purpose. I did, however, read the instructions. It says to give the paint a week to dry before you try to use it. Seriously? What kid is going to wait a week?4: This is the most important one. This set is potentially dangerous to small children. The set I received had imperfections in the ceramic that were very sharp. Seams with very sharp edges, little nuns of ceramic on the bottom that were also sharp. I actually managed to cut myself trying to clean them up. I was covering mine with clay anyways, so it's not a big deal for me, but I would never buy this for a child. The risk of them cutting their fingers on those sharp little pieces is just too much. It's possible I just got a badly molded set- I read some of the reviews and didn't see anyone else mention it. But, having small children in my house, I would want to know, so I felt obligated to say something. For my purposes the set was perfect, because I heavily modified it. My review is based on the intended use of the product, now what I actually used it for.

Smaller than a regular kids tea set
Smaller than I thought so beware if you thinking of doing this project and doing a tea witg kids after it dries. Its basically a minture tea set for their dolls basically. Kinda disappoint about it but were gonna still untlize it.

Good Art and Craft Activity
Great product for kids who love arts. Keeps your kids busy and the end product is just so cute. The only thing is the water colors were too thin and watery, however, we somehow managed to use them by mixing other colors.

Not worth it.
Wish I didn’t buy, I don’t usually write reviews but who sells a tea set for kids that is not meant to be used? After reading directions I found out that the paint isn’t water proof and the tea set is for display only! My daughter was super excited so we continued to paint the tea set… they are glossed so you have to put at least 3 layers of paint to make them look decent and then there isn’t enough paint to add designs…. Because they are glossy it makes it very hard for even an adult to paint designs like in the pictures on the box let alone a child… my daughter wanted to give up because it was so difficult.

Great mother daughter activity!
My 5 yo had fun painting them. We’re painting them one by one so not to use up all at one sitting. The drying time requires patience but it gives us something to look forward to when painting pattern on top of the base colour. Actually it dries pretty fast if left in front of a fan, before painting a pattern over. Five star!

Paint too thin, impossible to paint on - would not recommend
I bought this for my 7 year old daughter who’s got great precision when it comes to drawing/ painting etc and I thought this set would be brilliant for her. Unfortunately this was a complete disappointment, the paint was far too thin to make any decent design and even after painting a few coats the paint just drips down and forms a puddle (as can be seen in the pictures). It’s impossible to paint on any design, very disappointing and also can’t understand how this has gotten so many positive reviews when it’s such a useless activity.

Lovely set!
My daughter got this set as a present and she loved it so much we have since given it as a present to some of her friends. It was very easy to use for a 4-year old - she didn’t need any help to paint it. You can wipe out and correct your design if you do it right away, but once it has been left to dry for some time it becomes permanent. Even her 6 year old brother got involved and asked if he could paint a few bits. Both of them really enjoyed it.

Quite good quality tea set
Good fun painting tea set, the three year old loved it. Yes it will break china and children don't play well together (already a tea cup broken). It now sits it Mummy's china cabinet only coming out for picnics and special occasions like when her friend comes round for tea.I would say it was worth it for the smile it put on her face and the fact it kept her occupied for a whole afternoon, and she now has a "fine bone china" (her words) tea set just like Mummies.

super cute tea set that you can paint
Bought as a gift for a 5 year old, this is a super cuter tea set made of proper glazed 'china' / pot, it can be painted with the paints included in the set, you might want a better paint brush. A lovely set for a gift, and good value too. Had a lovely message from my daughters friend's mum, to say that they absolutely loved the tea set, and her daughter couldn't wait to get it all out and paint!

Paints are too thin
Brought as one of the presents for my daughters 5th birthday as she loves painting and tea sets. Don’t know what paint was used to paint the illustration but it definitely wasn’t the ones supplied. That was just watery as anything. Wouldn’t stay on and doesn’t cover. Comes off when washed. Used them 2 day’s later when dry and my daughters hands were covered in colour where it was picking colour off the paint. Whole set went in the bin within 48hours
