Q: Can it be used on the table? I doubt it. Do I need to buy a mat?

When it burns to the bottom, the temperature at the bottom of the portable campfire pot is indeed relatively high. If you use it on a wooden table, for better results, please add a metal block pad or a small iron frame. We generally use it on stone tables or ceramic tables. This portable campfire is ideal for outdoor activities such as camping/hiking/biking etc. as an emergency fire. We have developed a later version of the portable campfire that will fit any environment and will be available soon.
