I have had a Sony personal radio for years. A little plastic thing taking one AA battery. I really need a small device to listen to radio 4 at night due to my tinitus. Night time is worst for this condition as the silence of a bedroom means that I hear only a whistle in my right ear. Anyway, the Sony packed up and I purchased this. It is well constructed, rechargeable via a micro usb, comes with ear pods and a charging lead and a wrist strap. The unit is programmable to stations, the buttons are firm meaning no accidental pushes. It played R4 and world service all night long, crystal clear with no deviation from frequency. It is smaller than the sony, easily held in a palm. Reassuringly robust and nice looking with small LCD screen for channel info. It came well packaged, needed charging out of the box. I did not read the instructions as it is as easy to use as a knife and fork. Well happy.

Having used a few more expensive digital radios for walking to and from work and while at my work where practical often with poor reception or broken signals I had decided to no longer spend a lot of money on another.That is why I decided to give up on digital radios and try a traditional pocket radio. I chose this one due to the price thinking if it it didn't work I wouldn't lose that much money. I have to say it has been a great purchase and great value for money.I listen to Talksport a lot and I can pick that up no problem including areas I couldn't on my digital radio in the past. Sound is not brilliant if a lot of other noise in the area but still good enough to to hear. When no other noise the sound is good. As I don't listen to much music I can't really comment on how that sounds.The radio is very light and fits in your pocket no problem, rechargable battery sees me through the day and for the money you pay is a great product. I would highly recommend this radio.

This tiny radio caught my eye as it is supplied through Amazon with a lanyard to wear as a pendant, so very convenient for walking, cycling and trips into town. It's a cute little thing, no bigger than a credit card, in a stylish gold colour, which makes a change from the ubiquitous black, and the black buttons contrast clearly against the gold casing. The reception is suprisingly good for such a tiny device, but there is an audible background hiss, which is a little annoying and gets louder with better quality earphones, so I prefer to use the supplied earphones. As expected, the battery life is adequate but needs frequent recharging. I'd give it five stars if it were not for the background noise but it will nonetheless serve me well for the convenience of wearing it on my person rather than in a pocket or bag.

Good reception for a small radio. Easy to charge & lasts for a good time.

This is a good value for dog walking or just pottering in the garden. I have bought two, as the first one seemed to disappear from my screen and then arrived. However, I was going to send the first one back, as it kept turning off after about forty minutes, but luckily I discovered the second one did the same thing. Does anybody know why this is? Do they all do it? I don't know how to contact the company or Amazon to ask them. However, when they are working they are just what I need so I shall persevere unless I hear to the contrary.

Battery fully charged would not hold charge.

Bought this a gift for my young daughter on long car journeys as it doesn’t need internet and has a long battery life.Wonderful little product and also great as an emergency back up device to listen to traffic and weather alerts in remote areas.Highly recommended.

Just what I've wanted for ages

Echt een miniradio. Je stopt hem zo in het borstzakje van je overhemd. Het instellen van pre-set kanalen verloopt erg moeizaam zoniet frustrerend (steeds opnieuw). Tijdens het laden van het toestel is de ontvangst gestoord. Dus aan de stekker luisteren is niet mogelijk. Maar zonder stekker prima geluid als je tenminste je eigen in-ear systeem gebruikt (bedraad). Niet een directe aanrader maar voor deze prijs is het een nice-to-have radiootje. De max speelduur heb ik nog niet bepaald.

È arrivata ben confezionata in una scatolina, accessoriata di auricolari, collarino, cavetto usb e libretto di istruzioni. Facile da usare, piccina e carina. Per l'uso che ne faccio io, va più che bene.

Bästa jag har köpt slipper ligga att lyssna på radio när jag vill sova. För att var så liten är ljudet perfekt radion är något större en en tändsticksask den lilla vanliga.
