Despite being relatively inexpensive and made of synthetic fibres, this is a rather glamorous throw, which looks like something from a grand mansion. It's well-made and the colours are good. The tassels are a nice touch, but probably annoying if you're going to be throwing it into the washing machine on a regular basis (it will still look good without them). This will look great thrown across a bed with toning plain-dye bedlinen, but as it's a surprising show-stopper, you'll have to be careful pairing it with other patterned fabrics or carpets. It's unlikely to keep you warm on a winter night, but you'll look seriously wealthy shivering under it. More seriously, this is a good buy if you're looking for something with olde world opulence. It would go well with dark wood or an Arts and Crafts interior.

I purchased this throw in Gold and I was not sure about the photo. It’s reversible with gold and red tones, but a different pattern on the back. I think it’s a stunner and really looks classy. It catches the eye when you walk into the living room. Very pleased and I’m going to buy another one.

A beautiful throw, it looks much more expensive than the very reasonable price paid.Has a real 'antique' look to it and a very good size. Ideal to cover an armchair or as asingle bed cover. I bought four braided cushion covers (from another seller) in samefabric and they totally match and look lovely. Proved to be hard wearing too and dirtresistant.Very happy with purchase and swift delivery, will probably buy another.NOTE TO OTHER REVIEWERS: It does state take care of your throw and dry clean only.

Having previously bought a rich burgundy throw from the same company i was disappointed with the weight and lack of rich colour throughout the throw.Still good value for money.

Looks very expensive when it isnt! Easy to wash on 30 degrees. Tassels will unravel but I just cut them off when they did. Have two of them as dog throws and no end of friends have asked where to get them.Highly recommend if you want something that looks classy.

The throws are well represented in the imagery online. This is my second purchase due to the good quality and rich colours. The only one negative of this product is that the tassles come apart if you machine wash. They have a polystyrene ball inside the tassle and when you wash them the ball pops out and the tassle comes apart. I can live with that as it doesnt take away from the presentation of the throw.

Absolutely blown away with these throws, my bedroom is a medieval style and adding these as wall tapestries, to give the walls, rich colours, indulgence and embroidery on them, iv brought the burgundy and gold ones, very happy and superb quality at a very good price

Beautiful, stylish and expensive looking throw/cover. Rich colours, silky and vibrant design. Delighted! so much so that I have ordered another with matching cushion, makes my sofa look a million dollars!
