What you order is what you get and it arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The powder itself is not very chocolatey, but it is a bland, inoffensive taste and it does actually feel like a meal once you've drunk it, assuming you are not used to stuffing yourself absolutely full - if you are, I'd recommend drinking a glass of water before and after. I've taken to putting in half a teaspoon of cocoa powder for more chocolate flavour.To mix by hand, whisk in just a little milk until you get crumbles, then more for a thick paste, then gradually thin the past until you're whisking a shake. Done this way, it takes about a minute and a half without working very hard and gives a very even result. I do it by hand as it's less faff than getting out the blender and a lot more quiet, for not much more time and effort spent.

I really like the chocolate slim fast and at £2.97, it is the cheapest you'll find it.I have a really busy life style and very rarely find time to sit down to breakfast. It is a quick and easy way to get your daily calcium intake and also a cheap way too. I don't use this product as a way of losing weight, just as a breakfast replacement otherwise I would often miss breakfast. I have tried cereal bars and other "on the go" breakfast alternatives but find that they don't keep you full throughout the morning, this on the other hand does work for me.

Really nice product at fantastic value! I am really enjoying this product, which tastes so much nicer than most meal replacement shakes I've tried. The chocolate tastes really chocolatey, gives loads of nutritional information. My personal favourite is the strawberry, as it's the closest-tasting to a normal milkshake.I would advise to anyone buying these to get a protein shaker or doing it in a blender as if you're just making it in a glass with a spoon it can end up quite lumpy, despite all your effort! However, that said, the thing I like the most about this is that it doesn't leave you feeling at all hungry. I feel less hungry 4 or 5 hours after drinking one of these than say snacking on Ryvita etc, which will probably end up being more calorific. The most annoying thing about it is that it's only available as an Add-On item which is really frustrating.Otherwise, I would highly recommend. I'll have to wait and see what the physical results are!

I've tried the ready-made Slimfast shakes over the last few weeks and they're a pretty tasty way of grabbing a non-junk-food lunch on the go.I thought I might save some money by making my own Slimfast shakes, hence my purchase of Slim Fast Milkshake Powder.I made the first one with Soya Almond milk (we have lots of that in the house, and it's got less calories than normal milk). Come lunchtime, I had the shake, and it tasted awful. It literally was a struggle to drink with a very unpleasant aftertaste.I put this down to the soya Almond milk (it can give things a strange taste sometimes), but I've tried normal Soya milk and also real cow's milk, and the same thing - it has a quite unpleasant after-taste, and interestingly, nothing like what the Chocolate pre-made Slimfast shakes taste like.I'm pretty sure I made it correctly (how can you get putting two measures of powder using the supplied scoop wrong?!), it just tastes unpleasant.I actually had this on a 'subscription' order as I thought I'd want it every month. I cancelled it.

I decided to give the shakes a try for a month to adjust my body to eating a bit less before starting a low cal food diet. I have been on the shakes now for 2 weeks and I am so hungry, I am having a shake for breakfast and lunch, having 2 snacks(usually a yoghurt or fruit) and small main in evening. I am not heavily overweight either so not sure how a person wishing to lose more weight than me would cope. Last week was my ladies monthly and I had to give up the shakes for 2 days because I felt so ill following the plan at that time of the month. I am going to finish the supply I bought then use self control to have a low cal food diet. These may work for others but def not for me

Iv'e had it before and to buy it in bulk , 3 of my best flavour is just great!!really good and there is 8 meals in each tub,so im sorted for a while now :)Overall i will be buying again as i know its really good value for money ! :D :D

i didnt like the flavour of this one but then were all different and we have all got our own taste so im not going to give it a bad review just because i dont like this flavour .why because i like all the other flavours
