It is the worst thing I have bought in amazon my wife took it to work to use it for the first time and when I connected it in the office the cable started to burn, almost and a fire started luckily the breakers went out and nothing happened more serious, he almost lost his job because of this poor quality and dangerous appliance, I do not recommend it at all it is the worst garbage I have bought please do not buy it is very dangerous, do not deserve a rating star.

This device is a very convenient way to warm your lunch and keep it warm. If you warm up the food before putting it in the lunch box, it will stay hot. I tried putting the food in straight from the fridge and after two hours it was warm. It would probably take an additional half hour to hour to make it piping hot. So plan ahead before using. There are a couple opportunities for improvement. First, the instructions are not translated into very good English, but it is understandable. The second issue is the plug socket. The socket has three terminals but the plug wire has only two. The writing on the terminal is so small that I could only read it in direct sunlight. The secret: use the left two terminals for 110 volt service, and use the right two terminals to use the 12 volt car charger.

I have used this lunch box for 4 days straight, as a local trucker. Honest opinion it works really well if you know how to use it. Though the lunch bag was a good “add-on” it was very poor quality, the stitching came out the first day. But again, I didn’t make this purchase for the bag. The first day I put some white rice with some ground beef, drove from west palm beach, Fl to Miami roughly an hour and the food was hot! I needed to allow it to cool down but the rice at the bottom was hard as a rock. The next day rice with some beef chunks and potatoes. This time I added some water to the rice and by the time I got back to Miami it was perfect! Since then I add a bit of water to the food and it’s a five star meal… (depends on the cook of course. Lol) would recommend for anyone who doesn’t have access to a microwave.

The first time I used it I put the previous nights chicken, rice, and cheese. Made it around lunch time at work and it was great. Heated up so well and fast sitting in the truck for about 40 minutes. (Piping hot).Took it home, hand washed the metal inside part and little fork, set it on the rack to air dry.A week later I put lasagna from the night prior again, was getting it ready to go to work for the day and it would not click shut. I tried every which way to get the side clips to clip down including taking the metal piece out turning it, trying it again. Without force the side clip breaks off. Why it wouldn't fit back in there the second use is beyond me. We never dropped it, didn't freeze it, and didn't over fill it (I'm 130 lbs and don't eat much at a time).First use, great! Second use... couldn't even use it anymore.

This was the best 30 bucks I ever spent! I'm a truck driver, so it's hard to get a good meal on the run. Not anymore. I make a lunch at night and put it in the lunch box when I get ready to leave for work. I just plug it in about 25 minutes before I'm ready to eat and I have a hot meal that's healthier than any fast food. It even has an insert that will heat soup or anything liquid you want. If you have to eat on the run, this will make life easier and healthier.
