Air Plant Shop Large Hanging Ionantha Air Plant Clump Large Ionantha Ball with String - Natural Tillandsia House Plant Display

Beautiful little air plant! It arrived quickly and it seems to be healthy, though it was a little dry and brittle when I first opened it, but the instructions did say to water it immediately upon opening it, so that wasn't a big deal at all. The hand-written thank you note and the 20% off next order coupon was a nice touch, and the detailed instructions were definitely appreciated. This cute little guy makes a nice addition to my air plant rock garden (see picture above).

The plant is green and looks healthy, but I'm still waiting for the colors to pop. I'm hoping for a colorful burst of color as shown in the picture. I'm sure it is just a matter of time.

I should have returned it when I saw the box was crushed . The ball was pretty mashed also. I let it go because all the other plants I received were just fine. One even bloomed right away. I,ll probably order again.

It looks great in the picture. I followed the direction that came with the plant. I even called the vendor for tips. It never flowered it just died.

I bought two of these to sit in a sunny window. The stick attached to hang them is an unattractive but easily removed piece of metal.They arrived quickly and in perfect health (although not blooming as pictured, so don't count on them coming in flower).The only mark I have deducted is that one is a good 1.5" smaller in diameter than the other.

This was delivered lovely and healthy, and with a nice wire for hanging. I bought it to divide into 2 for two 6" hanging globes. Dividing it was quite difficult, and in fact 1/2 of this ball was way too much for a 6" globe. So, I ended up using 1/4 in each of the hanging glass globes, and the other half I have hanging in a window without any globe. They look great.

I purchased a variety of air plants before Christmas 2012, and most are still alive (June 2013), except for these guys. This product was several of the tillandsia airplants that were glued together. I wasn't nuts about them being glued together, and accidentally damaged a few of them trying to separate the ball into smaller parts. I'm also struggling with their care, not sure if I'm over or underwatering, but many of the leaves are turning brown (although one has started to sprout a "pup", which I'm excited about). They also never turned colors, which is ok. They're stayed bright green for me. This was my least favorite of all the air plants I purchased (The other ones I purchased were Tillandsia Abdita and Tillandsia Caput Medusae)

We ordered this thing several months ago. In that time period, we have managed to kill several other plants, but this one has put up with our inconsistent watering, temperature, and lighting conditions and now it is even rewarding us with beautiful color changes and bright blooming flowers as well. This is not your regular boring airplant, oh no, it just pretends to be a regular old airplant for a few months, and then explodes into a burst of color ...really cool. My fiance' loves it.
