After a few you get the hang of it

Everything seems to be decent quality. But the wire supplied is not in the conventional/universal order that all RC car/plane components use. Normally the wires are white/red/black, but the wire supplied is white/black/red. Not a huge issue from a functionality standpoint but if someone ends up reversing a connection and fries a piece of electronic it could be a problem.

If this set was $10 and didn't include the crimp, it would probably be 5 stars. There's a nice assortment of parts to get you started. Unfortunately, the crimper itself is a 2-star item. The die isn't very well manufactured, and you're going to run into issues down the road with mysteriously failing electrical connections if you use this. It simply isn't accurate enough to produce a quality connection.That said, if you need a cheap kit for a one-off project that won't be disturbed after you put it together, this may be a good choice. I'll be investing in a better crimp for my DIY 3D printer project myself.
