The pen is fairly short and the cap just fits onto the end.The action of writing is reasonably fluid and at this price is passable.Should last a while and will be easy to carry around if you need to.

Hi, I have used 3 of these so far, well 1 me and 1 each of 2 of my children, my children use the etch a sketch drawing stencils, so these was purchased for that reason for their fine line tip.I have used mine for righting I would recommend these, but not for righting, even though they do work, their more of an artist pen than anything.The price is a little high at 40 pence each, we have some that was 10 pence each and does the job perfect, yet wanted to try these as it says new japanese technology, so there for was thinking they was better, but there not, the cheaper ones are just as good.My children and I opened a pen up so we actually had 9, just to see what new technology was inside, theirs NONE, so the new Japanese technology is mis-leading. I have emailed the seller to ask whats new and they have never got back to me.Overall I let my children rate this, well me as the adult I filled this in, they rated 4 stars, due to being same as the cheaper ones on the market - i.e. their 10 pence each here in the UK we paid 40 pence each for these ones. Value for money 2 -Overall 4 as they work well for the childrens art studys with stencils.a good artist pen - not so good at righting ...I do recommend buying yourself a set of these, yet do not be mis-lead by the false advertising on these by this seller - will do nothing to resolve.

Paper used was 130 grams sketch pad sheetGreat ink deliveryVery smooth and less wrist and thumb ache.I have spent so much on pens just to throw them out due to poor ink flow or the need for so much pressure it limits what I'm doing.These are great and the price is affordable. Will order moreThe ink did bleed through the page but no blobbing and no dripping.
