I work in quarries and construction sites all over Texas and there's definitely no shortage of dust. This filter works really well. The foam outer piece makes it a little difficult to push in but helps to seal the edges.

2022 RAM 2500The filter model states that it fits the 2019 5th Gen RAM trucks, but it does not. The filter dimensions are slightly larger than the OEM filter when you stack them to compare. The real issue is that this carbon filter is not flexible, and the filter access is partially blocked by the main dash frame and the filter needs to be flexed/compressed slightly to be able to insert it into the filter box. Once you bend this filter it doesn't resume is original shape and you lose the filtering capabilities, even then the filter is oversized enough that you have to forcefully jam it into the filter box with a lot of pressure. With the filter fully pushed in the filter door still can't be installed because the filter is protruding too much. If you get it pushed in all the way you are going to have a difficult time removing it as well.

2021 Ram 1500 Limited. What I don't like: Setting1-2-3 barely pushes air, 4 feels like setting 1 should be 5 feels like 2 and so on. So its very constrictive I'm ordering another one. I usually always have it in auto mode but this wasn't a good choice of filter. What I do like: Well made filter. HEPA with carbon probably will filter the cabin nicely but it doesn't allow the air to flow as it should.

Felt like it suffocated the ac, didn't let latch close .

No smell . Works great

So it's a great quality filter both supior fit and construction, but it significant reduces airflow by at least 2 fan levels due to the dense filtration and complete seal. Don't expect to run this for the a vehicle long term and it not have additional fan motor wear from being forced to run it on a higher setting to offset reduced airflow out of vents.

Fits just fine to replace the OEM filter. It is more rigid than the OEM but if you line it up and give it a push it will slide right into place just fine. It took me cost plus 5 minutes (first timer doing this); rather than pay the dealership $80.
