There are several models being reviewed by customers in these reviews. I bought the round charcoal grill similar to the Weber Smokey Joe , and that one is great. Very similar to teh Weber model.

I just love how big it is for small thing to cook I can even cook a small rib on her, love this one!

Main deficiecy is that normal size briquettes fall through the charcoal grate ... you will need to buy a separate grate.Otherwise ok.If you spent a lot of time during Covid-19 working on jigsaw puzzle,s, you can put this “Weber-like” grill together.The instructions are not words but diagrams. Take a hard look at the drawings to see how things fit together … I mean take a real good look! Especially the lower rack that goes at the bottom where the lower portion of the legs and the wheels attach. Take a hard look at the way the ends of the rack are positioned. I put it on upside down on my first try. That involved a beer break.And the wheels need to be put on opposite to the diagram. The place the wheel nut goes is not where the drawing shows. The wheel should be turned around so that the concave opening is to the outside, with the bump on the wheel to the inside. The lock nut cannot be fitted onto the wheel axle with a crescent wrench. You need a socket wrench. If you get it right, the wheels will roll freely.The parts list seems to indicate two sizes of screws and butterfly nuts. I’m not sure of this, I found only one size. The butterfly nuts can’t be tightened enough by hand. You will need a pliers to grip the nut.Wonderful thing is the way they legs are to be permanently clamped in place, unlike the Weber legs which tend to fall out.Be sure to check that all parts were included. If you are missing some stuff, you might find substitutes in your junk drawer.It’s a few hours challenge. Hold off on the cursing. Think BBQ.

This is an Amazon basics charcoal grill. It’s cheaper than everything in the market and there’s a reason for that. I read the reviews and was afraid the bad ones were true but was really hoping they were not given that other Amazon basics stuff has been good.If you are like me and want to grill once in a while with friends over this grill might do. However, I have no idea long it will last so you may be buying a new one sooner than you think.Pros:1. It’s the perfect size for 2-4 people.2. The instructions for assembly were fine.3. The wheels were fine despite what other reviewers say.4. Outward appearance is nice.In theory, this would have been the perfect grill, but here comes the Cons:1. Things don’t quite fit together - when assembling, several parts have very little manufacturing margin so things have to be screwed together under tension and the metal definitely doesn’t look like it will hold the tension for long, we’ll see.2. Outright design flaws - the grate for the charcoal had these two handles with variable height bars but the grate actually doesn’t rest inside the handle where it should. Because of this it will always have a slant so your coal, which is burning hot by the way and hard to move around, is going to constantly move to one end and even fall through the gaps.3. The assembly was awful - some parts came jammed into each other and were near impossible to remove.4. I wasn’t provided with sufficient screws.5. The top grilling grates have an inherent bend to them so they don’t sit flat on the top and have that annoying wobble at diagonally opposite corners that tables and chairs can have sometimes that drives you mad.6. The ash tray grinds against the metal in the part that’s supposed to hold it up against the grill - seriously wondering when it will just cut through.So I went searching for a grill because it was absurd to me that the Weber 22” I wanted to buy didn’t have a temperature gauge and the next version that did was $90 more expensive!I don’t think you are getting what you pay for since the Weber one without a temperature gauge is much higher quality for not that much more in price (considering the 18” one for the same size-ish comparison). The metal of the entire thing is not as thick and seems frail in comparison.

Kettlengrills are my favorite to use. They are plenty large for a variety of food and with a few accessories can cook a whole meal. This Amazon Basics Kettle grill is easy to assemble and comes with easy to follow directions. Everything you need for assemble is included. Grill is sturdy and cooks well. Lid fits nicely and vents open amd close smoothly. The 22" coal starter accessory we have fit perfectly inside.

Overall, grill looks good but it ended there for me. Functionality, it does the job with more work than needed. Bars on bottom grate that coals go on are spaced too far apart so coals fall through easily. Vent holes on the bottom aren’t the greatest design so they plug up with coal dust easily allowing the coals burn out if you’re not paying attention. Nuts and bolts that hold it together back out easily. The metal used for the bowl is thin so the large hoop carrying handle is useless as after folding the handle back and forth a few times as it misshapes the bowl.

Bottom grate mismatched from the top grate and has bars so wide apart the charcoal falls thru. Really not useable so needs to be gerry rigged to use. The top grate is in need of handles and instead you get these funny little, worthless, bent metal rods intended to be use to lift the grate. Doesn’t work. Cheap quality, poor design, mismatched parts. Buy a Weber. This is no bargain and it won’t last (which in this case is a good thing).

A very good grill was easy to assemble cleans up well cooks your food to perfection every time
