Merkur 933C Travel Safety Razor

The blade that came with it was poorly wrapped in thin tissue paper, and had already cut through it inside the pouch and I ended up stabbing my finger badly in trying to get the pieces out. I expected more from Merkur.

I have now used this razor for a few weekends away, having bought it some time ago.It gives the same good shave as any Merkur or similar Muhle head, and it packs away easily in to its tiny pack, where there is also room for a spare blade ( in its sleeve) if you wish. No compromises here, and it has worked very well with both oil and soap/brush.

a good weight for a travel razor, and quite a neat design. Not quite as good as my Edwin Jagger (which is not a travel razor) but ideal for the travelling man.

Great little travel razor. I obtained an extra top section of the handle (smaller of the two sections) from Merkur which turns it into a full length handled razor for use at home. Muhle plastic safety razor guard fits the head perfectly.

Neat, compact and very usable. The small pouch is good enough quality.If space is a premium then go for this one. It's as good as a full size razor just a little lighter.

Used this whilst away for a few days recently for the first time, don't know how I ever managed without one now.Great quality, nifty design, biggest headache is choice, do I use the full size one when I'm at home or stick with the travel size?

Excellent travel razor does the job perfectly.

Superb little razor. Seems to be the same profile head as the 34C I also own, giving similarly spectacular results. A thing of beauty; recommended.
