Talalay latex may not suit everyone
After much research I rejected a Dunlopillo and purchased the Healthbeds High Profile Luxury Cooltex Talalay Latex Pillow. When it arrived I did a quick try out and was so impressed that against my wife's wishes I ripped up the packaging because I was convinced that this was the perfect pillow for me. A couple of days later we tried to order a second pillow for my wife but they were so popular that Amazon had run out of stock so we ordered from the Marketplace Seller helenhighwater38 where it was £3.67 cheaper with delivery in two days. After airing the first pillow for two days we added a protector and a pillowcase. The pillowcase was extremely tight and on the first night of use it seemed to prevent play in the pillow which was now very bulky. I spent hours searching the internet and my wife searched shops but we failed to get pillowcase wider than 50 cm. I phoned Healthbeds and explained the problem but they said we only make pillows not pillowcases. Eventually my wife found a pillowcase 4 cm wider that she made years ago and forgot about. I thought the problem was solved but to my great disappointment I did not get a good night's sleep with the pillow, ended up with a stiff neck and returned to using a memory foam pillow purchased a week before for just under £20.By this time the second pillow had arrived and we were surprised to find it was slightly narrower and longer than the first. Measuring with the supplied covers off, the circumference of the first pillow was 97 cm at each end and 94.5 cm in the middle whereas the second one was 93 cm along the full length. The second pillow also had a fault in that half of one end of the basic netting cover was not sown. As Healthbeds say they check every part of the process we wondered if this was a reject. This smaller pillow fitted a 50 cm wide pillowcase better so my wife gave it a go but ended up with a stiff neck and a thumping headache. My research led me to believe that Talalay Latex was so superior to other pillow materials and it does feel perfect when tested by hand. I can understand some people giving this pillow 5 stars but is not suitable for everyone.Since this last review (above) I have used the smaller pillow for a few nights and I am quite happy with it so I will be keeping it. The first bigger bulky pillow has been returned. 2* from my wife but 4* from me.

Perfect Pillow for me - you need to decide if it's right for you!
I bought this pillow after about 5 years searching for the "right" pillow. One thing I've learnt along the way is that one man's "soft" pillow is another man's hard and the same goes for height, comfort etc. So I'll try to keep this review objective and factual to let you decide if this is the right pillow for you.Firstly, latex is a wonderful material for a pillow. It does stay cool even in warm weather. It really does bounce back to the original size on its own and is a great mix of initial softness which still offers support/resistance when lying on it (ie doesn't disappear away to a pancake when you lie on it). The latex in this pillow had a bit of an initial smell but it disappeared after being aired for 48 hours. The pillow is pretty high - it really fills a pillow case. It's brilliant for sleeping on your back, impossible for lying on your front and good for lying on your side. I have to warn though I have a fairly large shoulder width and my head is just about horizontal (ie in line with spine) when lying on my side. A more petite person might find the pillow too high for side-sleeping.And that's it really. Latex I would recommend to anyone for a pillow and if you are looking for a fairly high pillow this should be perfect for you. I've had it 2-3 months so far and it really is still as good as new. Time will tell how it wears over time but so far, well worth the money.EDIT - 4 months later I've found a negative. Just back from a week long holiday and I could not find a pillow to give me a good night's sleep. This pillow is really so comfortable but unfortunately I'm now one of those difficult people who can't find a good enough pillow when travelling!

Very good customer service
There was a problem with delivery as the company they use had stopped delivering to the Channel Islands when I contacted them they said they would post them individually via the post on arrival one had a faulty cover which they replaced there customer service was excellent. The pillows are also excellent would recommend to family and friends.

Best darned pillow in the WORLD!
I suffer from insomnia and have tried every sleep solution in the book. A latex pillow was one of those solutions and I wouldn't be without it now. In fact, when I go on holiday, I go straight back to not sleeping as I haven't got this bit of loveliness with me. I can't use memory foam as it makes me feel hot and panicky so they were a no-go. Also, memory foam doesn't have bounce. This has bounce in abundance, it's the comfiest most supportive pillow I've ever had and believe me, I've tried plenty. It stays cool and it hasn't flattened at all since I bought it. I know this is expensive, very expensive, but this year, I've spent less on pillows than a normal year where I'd buy 3 or 4 a year, only to have them collapse on me or give me neck-ache. I would recommend going to a bed store and trying out a latex pillow before you commit to buying one as they are expensive and you need to get one that's the right height so that your neck isn't out of alignment. This is a high loft one so if you're a short person or have narrow shoulders, I'd give the low loft one a go instead - it's still quite high, just not as high as this one. My husband has the Dunlopillo Opulence latex pillow, my daughter has the low loft version of this one and my opinion is that the Healthbeds one is better than the Dunlopillo for soft bounce, probably down to the Talalay latex. Do your research first to see if a latex pillow is for you and if it is, I can't recommend this one highly enough.
