Auraglow Colour Changing 50cm 5v LED Strip USB TV Back Light Lighting Kit

Simply Great and exceeded all expectations. The device is powered by a USB, a feature on all modern TV . As well as other devices such as games consoles, computer monitors as well as other places possibly around the house. The USB cable is long enough to reach into the TV, and unlike some products which are cheaply made. To fit the device, simply plug into the USB socket and then place the strip onto the device, this is attached using a 3M sticky pad, which is strong and leaves no mess - but of course doesn't need to be used. Then the lights will light up, and are controlled by the small buttons attached to it. You can change the colour, brightness (from dim to very bright) and also have a range of modes from fading to flashing to strobe.The reason this product is so good , is that firstly its discreet and so bright, but beyond that adds such ambience and atmosphere to your TV watching, You can change the brightness and colour to suit what you are watching. Also I have used this as lighting for my room while listening to music on my TV.Overall the product is great quality for a very reasonable price, a great buy. I bought 2 of these and they both come unstuck within 20 mins. Advertised with a remote control and neither had one. You can control directly from the lights but it's very awkward depending on where you place them. Lights are good but useless if they won't stay attached. Wouldn't buy these again unfortunately 😞

Very easy to install, just remove the tape, stick in position and plus into the USB port. The item arrived promptly and well packed. I really love this product and although its only 50cm and my TV is 50" it gives off a really bright light to the area behind the TV which is positioned in the corner of the room. Although there are lots of colours, brightness settings and flashing, fade etc, I have just set it to a static blue colour which is really nice and just give a nice ambient light to the corner of the room.Very satisfied, in fact I have bought another strip for my wall mounted TV too.

This product isnt bad. It does help the contrast hurting your eyes in low light to some degree but it definitely isnt going to be like a more expensive product. is it cool? yeah, it is. The adhesive is not very good though, even if you've dusted before you stick it, it will start peeling off in a month or two. Its easy to restick but a bit annoying. The light does change to a lot of different colours which is nice, but it isnt super bright. I mean you'll see it in a dark room at night but its not going to be great during the day for example. But hey! it is cheap, and for that alone probably worth it

Arrived very quickly, as is the norm with Amazon Prime. This was purchased to use on a 23" monitor, which is probably the idea size for this product, it may be slightly too wide for smaller models.I'll get the negative that lost it a star out of the way first; while the strip itself seems fairly solid and good quality the adhesive on the back of the strip doesn't seem to want to work properly. Although the back of the monitor is completely flat, no texturing, and I ensured it was clean and dry, the strip fell off within a few hours. Placing it back, it fell off again. Disappointing but not a deal breaker, I simply used sticky tape - you can't see it, it's behind the monitor and out of sight! For the low price, I'm not worried about this.Now the positives; the light itself is wonderful. Sitting watching a film at night with these lights bathing the wall behind in one of the myriad of colours really does look good, plus it's likely easier on the eyes than staring at just a monitor if the rest of the room is in darkness. The in-line controller works well, easily allowing the changing of both colour and brightness, and though the strobe and fade options are fun they're probably more suited to when listening to music. It's also nice that they're USB powered, meaning I don't have to have another device plugged in, I can simply connect it to the USB socket on the PC (though a USB plug adapter can be used for those wishing to place the light strip where no USB socket is available)All in all, I'm very happy with the product and wish I'd bought one ages ago.One further consideration is the company. Having purchased from Auraglow in the past I'm happy to report that their after-sales service and support is excellent, very friendly and helpful. Which is comforting to know should any problems arise!

I have used these before (years ago) so decided to get some new ones for my tv. Very easy to apply (the area on tv was clean), placed it where I wanted it and pressed firmly. Attached the usb cable, plugged it in and that was it. Checked the control for the colours etc and all was fine. I did check it a while later just to see if it was still stuck on and it was. Nice and bright colours,gives it a nice glow as well. Fully recommend it , just take your time to apply it.

Look this item is £5 so probably cost 2 to make. Take that into consideration and it works great!As a thing in its own right, you can feel the cheapness. I guarantee you will pull the lead out of the strip whilst installing. Don't worry it plugs back in. But a more expensive item would would have some sort of capture.Please make sure your TV usb can be set to power off when in standby!Given the price I would have been happy to forgive all the shortcomings. But a few hours after installing the strip adhesive failed. I imagine some customers won't experience this and for those people this item is worth the price!

Certainly not as bright as advertised. I have a 55" tv and only 2 open USB. Probably need 4 to get to what is being shown in the ad.

Ottima striscia a led che vi permetterà di creare una bella atmosfera con poca spesa (Rispetto alle strisce Led della Philips) si possono scegliere sia i colori che gli effetti, (io l'ho settato su un colore fisso) mi sono trovato coì bene, che lo stesso giorno che ho ricevuto la striscia, ne ho ordinata subito una seconda per avere l'effetto dietro il monitor del mio PC che vedete in questa foto.Prodotto consigliatissimo tranne per la parte adesiva della striscia che non tiene per nulla, io ho risolto mettendo dell'altro nastro biadesivo
