Product is excellent. Could do with a way of keeping the microphone cover on better but other than that, it works well with my iPhone SE. Huge cord length so you can stand well away from camera if needed. The customer service from this company has been first class. I had a small problem with original order. I contacted them and they immediately offered to replace the item. They kept in contact with me throughout the discussions and were never less than helpful. Super impressed. If only other sellers were like this. You can buy with complete confidence from this company.

So far excellent results and much much better than the Boya version
So far excellent results and much much better than the Boya version of this which I bought and had to return. The construction is very similar to the Boya, including the badly designed battery compartment. It is VERY difficult to get the battery out.I fitted the foam cover and clip and tested it clipped to my clothing. I have used it with both smartphone and a video camera and the sound was clear and full range without any noticeable muffling. I can't say how low the hiss levels are absolutely, but they were very low and not something that stood out at all.Overall very pleased to have paid that little bit more for this over the similar Boya.

Excellent
An excellent mic, almost broadcast quality, the long lead is great for walking about, so get a bobin or some thing to wind it around as it will soon turn into a tangle. The power capsule is great if you want to connect to a dry mic source eg DSLR or pro camera. (dry mic source= no voltage to drive the electret capsule switch on power capsule, Wet mic source egI phone switch off power capsule).

Good sound quality but stopped working after 6 months of use
The only good thing with this mic is the sound. Used on my Canon R6 and after about 6 months of use, the mic makes works one minute and not the next. When the battery runs out it is so hard to remove the battery, you need a sharp-pointed nail, knife or anything that will fit. When miles out in the middle of the countryside on a hike and the battery dies it becomes tricky and far worse in freezing cold conditions when you can't feel your fingers! No thought whatsoever went into the design as stated.

Inconsistent perfromace
The mic works fine on xbox one x when connected to controller. However, on PC the mic is not picked up no matter what 3.5mm input I plug into?If I plug it into my controller on PC it works for the first few seconds then cuts off. If I plug it straight into the PC it does not register.

Be careful for the button to not get knocked as you end up with no sound recording
Good quality mix with good wind protection, but if the button gets knocked, it won’t record sound if it’s half way between settings or the wrong setting. It’s been quite easy to knock and have on the wrong setting and I have missed a few recordings because of it

Bom

The media could not be loaded.

Incredibly good mic at this price point
I'm a pro audio engineer. I bought 2 of these mics to record an interview. The signal, when recorded into a laptop, or a PROFESSIONAL audio recorder was surprisingly clean and clear and did not need much processing. You may not get great results recording into a cell phone or a DSLR camera. Read below PROS/CONS to find out why, and what to do.PROS:(1) This is an omni-directional mic. It picks up sound equally well from every angle. That makes it easy to get a good, clean signal, but also picks up the room tone and any background noise, like computer fans, equally clear. Where you record matters.(2) The EQ curve is tuned for vocals, with a boost in upper midrange frequencies that makes syllables sound clear and the voice sound present.(3) The solid box, carrying bag, 20 foot cable, 1/4" adapter, and extra battery are a nice addition to the packageCONS:(1) This is clearly a cheap microphone, and nothing in the package is very durable. You have to be careful with how you treat it so that it lasts a while. The cable looks like it will be the first component to break. Do not pull it or bend it harshly. This microphone is not a beater you can abuse.(2) The mic is sensitive to cable movements. Tapping or rubbing on the cable within 2-3 feet of the mic is clearly audible in the recording, so you will need to clamp it down with additional clips or tape, to minimize movement.(3) The mic requires power from a watch-style battery (package includes 2 batteries). I don't know yet how long each battery lasts. I was unable to power it using phantom power from my pre-amp via the included 1/4" adapter. I will try a 2 contact and a 3 contact 1/4" adapter or an xlr adapter to see if I can drive the mic without the battery. All in all, at this price point, there is nothing to complain about. If you are getting a noisy signal, it's not the mic, it's your cell phone's, or camera's software. My Google Pixel runs an auto-leveling compressor/limiter and an equalizer. The compressor automatically amplifies background noise and hiss as soon as someone stops speaking into the mic, and the automatic equalizer adds some high frequencies, which make this mic sound unnaturally bright (as if someone cranked the treble). Most DSLR cameras record this way as well, by default. Find a way to turn off the internal compressor/limiter, and/or equalizer in your recording device to get the pure signal from this mic, and you will find the resulting sound quality very satisfying.
