Good for the GoPro

These are well-machined and light, thanks to the Aluminum. They fit my GoPro Hero 11 perfectly. They screw onto standard 1/4 camera screws.

Even while GoPros are intended to be worn or placed on surfboards or bicycles, I occasionally mount mine on a tripod for specific images. Although I have a plastic tripod attachment, I much prefer aluminum for non-action uses like installing a tripod. With my GoPro Hero 8, these attachments performed as anticipated, fitting well and being simple to attach to or remove from the tripod. My only issue, for which I docked one point, is that the screw knob includes an O-ring made of rubber, making it more difficult to secure the GoPro in place than it should be.

When I first bought my GoPro a few years ago I bought a bunch of 3rd party accessories/mounts for it. The set came with two tripod mounts, but both were made out of plastic. Over the years, one of the three parts sticking up that the GoPro actually attaches to have broken. I never even thought to look for aluminum mounts, but when I saw these I had to order them.Like you'd expect from an aluminum mount, these things are quite strong. I have no concerns about them breaking like my old mounts did. I like the feel of the screws too -- they're very grippy and feel very high-quality.The only thing I'm not super crazy about with these - and it's a small complaint - is that when you attach the GoPro, the end of the screw sticks out of the side of the mount. My old mount had an acorn cap nut, which looks nicer and is less likely to get caught on things. But even with the screw sticking out, I'm still quite happy with these because I don't have to worry about them breaking at inopportune times.If you need a tripod mount for your GoPro, these are a great choice!
