These do just what they are intended to do... keep a firearm or other item safe from little hands. They are definitely not the highest quality product, but work correctly and seem to be covered well enough to keep my guns from being scratched or otherwise damaged. Will buy again when I find the need.

These are great to have around for many purposes (securing motorcycle gear, emergency lock something, cases, guns, etc). It came well packaged with matching keys and is a gun lock. Really not much to say beyond that. The black is nice and matches my other gear (as much as I like the red/yellow ones, it doesn't match my gear on my motorcycle and the colors tend to fade in the sun).

Buying keyed alike gun locks makes so much sense! How often do you want to let a member of your household unlock one of your guns in your absence but not the others? For me, that answer would be "never."This kind of lock is a last line of defense. It's not the sort of thing you want to rely on as the sole means of keeping someone from loading and firing your gun(s). Manual cable cutting pliers, especially those designed for heavier steel cables, will cut through most cable gun locks in about 2-3 seconds. That's why cable gun locks do nothing to make your guns less desirable to thieves. Where they are really valuable is keeping household members from loading and firing your guns. A teenager in your house, even a slow one, is going to know that the list of suspects will be pretty darned short if a gun cable lock is cut off.Of course, these have plenty of non-gun uses, too and I'm not going to waste your time with examples that you can come up with on your own.I'm happy to recommend these.

These are 15" cable locks, and they're more or less identical to the cable locks I've always received with any firearm I've ever purchased. They're all keyed alike and, for myself, that's the biggest upside to them. I can unlock any of the five locks with a single key. They're plastic coated to avoid marring the firearms, or whatever else you might be locking with them.These are just fine for my needs, and probably for most people's needs. You shouldn't be relying on cable locks entirely for securing your firearms but it's a fine secondary barrier. These, and literally any other cable lock for a firearm, can be cut very easily with the right tool.Overall, I'm happy with them. I'll be replacing my old cable locks with these so I can stick with one key.
