Very fascinating

I totally enjoyed this book, the art work is very good. The is easy to read. Just a fun book.

It is a good reference book that compiles a lot of technical information and operational history of the aircrafts. The illustrations are excelent and the overall quality of the book is good as well.

Wer die Bücher aus dem Amber Books Verlag kennt, wird sehen, dasss sich dieses Buch in die gewohnt gute Qualität einfügt. Ich kann es jedem empfehlen, der sich für-Militärgeschichte-Luftfahrtgeschichte-Fliegerei im WK I-Deutsche Luftwaffe oder-Flugzeugtechnikinteressiert!

WW２もお腹いっぱいになったのでWW1も開拓してみようかと購入、正解でした。日本ではこの手の資料はグランドパワー誌の別冊くらい、しかも白黒写真のみなので日本で入手できるカラー資料は本書が唯一でしょう。WW1期の飛行機のどの程度が網羅されてるのかわかりませんが中々なボリュームで、派手なカラーリングの戦闘機からカモフラージュの概念が生まれてきた爆撃機の”派手な”迷彩までWW2物と違ったビジュアルがとても目を楽しませてくれます。そしてそこには一騎討な騎士道的戦闘から戦略に沿った集団的組織戦闘に移行する過程が見て取れ、これを生かせるプラモデルが少ないのが残念ですが戦車のプラモデルでWW1物が続々とリリースされてきている今、そのうち航空機も、と期待しています。
