Zvezda 3601-1/35 WWII German Sdkfz 182 King Tiger (Henschel) - New

...so obviously I am yet to build this model, but initial impressions are very good...except the PC police censorship of the decals! (Hence only 4 stars.)When will people realise that erasing history doesn’t mean it never happened..??ANYWAY, I’ve been building models for about 49 years, and Tamiya need to get their act together as far as packaging goes because this comes in an amazing looking & very stout box.Seriously, this is the quality of packaging one would expect from Trumpeter. Beautiful artwork but instructions perhaps not for the novice. Can’t wait to get started tomorrow.You may never have heard of Zvezda but don’t let that put you off. Looking at the sprues, the tooling looks very good but more than anything, this is the box of a model 5 times the price!

very nicely made model, lots of great details, the track links were the only thing I could complain about as they don't fit very well but with a bit of work the effect is amazing.Few bits could have been added like the MG on top of the cupola maybe some accessories but no drama about it, the model looks great just as it is. Apart from the track links everything fits like a glove with pretty much no need to process it which is quite unique.

Fantastic kit, not for the beginner. 90 individual parts per track.. Bit of a nightmare to assemble but well worth the effort, a really good quality kit. Will be buying more of Zvezda kits.

i liked the look of the model also intrutions at this moment it is still working progress and looks to be a fine model
