Very pretty; feels nice when you hold it and seems like it will be pretty durable. I got it in Green and the colour is very nice, very close to the on-screen image. A vibrant foresty-leafy green; I was worried it may look a little tacky but it's actually very classy.It all seems very well fitted together, nothing seems to pull or strain.Unexpected con: You can't add any more pages because of space. I bought refills thinking I could bulk up the original number but instead I just swapped the brown out for black so they'd all be the same colour because any more than 30 pages and they can no longer turn properly; the ring binder inside is very small.(My current plan is to save the brown pages so when I run out of room in this book I can buy another and swap out the black pages so they're all brown. (There was no brown refill option, to my frustration.) and keep it going in a cycle. (They're for a scrapbooking project I intend to work on for some time, so I do expect to buy more in future)) - On the plus side, the pages are very solid in both colours. Thick enough that ink won't leak through to the other side and the pressure of writing shouldn't show up either. Slightly different texture on each side, I feel like only one face is supposed to be used per page, but it's not significant enough to stop you if you want to use both - just be aware the backs are slightly rougher.Unexpected Pro: The leather band looks like more work than it is. It looks (to me at least) like you would have to wrap and twist/untwist and unwrap every time you wanted to get in and out but it's actually a very simple single loop system.

I have just received this and felt compelled to write a quick review....to show how lovely the feel and look of this item are.Exactly as stated. Lovely to the touch and really excited to start putting my pictures in there for my friend's present.10 black cards included so beware if you need more, order the extras.Only 4 stars because...well, I am just complicated but ai thought the box it came in could have been of better quality. I love the design though and will try and replicate with better quality cardboard box.

This was bought as a wedding present for a friend and they absolutely loved it! Exactly what they had wanted but had not been able to find one they liked. Happy friends, happy me! The cover is really nice, the leather is really good. I didn't take it out of all the packaging as I wanted to retain that unopened but my friend reported that it was in perfect condition. Would definitely buy again and possibly in another colour! Another great buy.

I recently bought the maple version of this book and absolutely love it. The cover feels strong and of good quality. I initially had something different in mind for my scrapbook (something larger) but returned the other one I bought at the same time as this one (of the same price) was a higher quality. Its about an a5 size. It comes with a few colourful photo corners but not too many so I ordered some more. Very happy with my purchase.

Beautiful and very good quality! There is some place for an other pack of paper but no more.My picture shows how is looking with the extra pack of black paper.

A perfect gift and just what I was looking for. The leather has a soft, mat feel. The pages inside are either black or beige. Their sequence can easily be changed and I've notice that you can buy refills. It also came with colourful corner stickers to fix the photos. The service was excellent too. I highly recommend this product.

After taking almost a month to arrive no black pages as described and no photo corners

Love this little photo album. Would recommend as its different to an everyday photo album.
