Good for Noodles
I bought this mincer as a bargain-priced noodle cutter. It cuts noodles far better than mincing herbs, something I can do with a large sharp knife with more ease.As for cutting noodles, be sure the dough has sat out a bit after rolling flat and is well-floured. The noodles will be fairly thin so make sure that's the kind of noodles you want before buying the product. If they made one with the cutting wheels farther apart, I'd buy it too.Considering I was going to purchase a pasta maker for 50 dollars and bought this device for under 10... I'm extremely pleased and have saved money and storage space.

I'm not really sure which way to hold this
So the picture shows the front lip bending upward, however it you hold it that way, the wheels don't seem big enough and the plastic bottom crushes the herbs. If you hold it with the lip down toward your cutting board, it offers a bit more clearance, but the then the lip is dragging across the board. Cleanup is much better than the old miner I had, but the design on this could use a bit of improvement.

New fangled noodle cutter
After breaking mine that I only paid $2 for some 35 years ago, used mainly for cutting fresh homemade noodles, I was forced to buy a new one! Much fancier than the old one!It seems okay, we'll see how long this fancier one lasts!

Great sharp little tool, very handy
This is a great little gadget. Very sharp. I used mine for cutting homemade pasta noodles. I cut them on a plastic mat and the blades cut right through the plastic so be carful what kind of surface you use to cut on.

Not impressed
I really like the concept, but it’s a flawed design. There is a clear plastic curved “protector?” Over the blades. It makes using it difficult because the plastic shield keeps hitting the cutting board and pushing the herbs away or just stopping the blade. I tried using it upside down. Nope. The only way to make it work is to lower your hand almost to the counter.I don’t like it. Disappointed.

Perfect!
I specifically purchased this item to mince herbs such as parsley, cilantro, etc. and I couldn’t be happier after first use! Minced an entire bunch of parsley at once with ease. I found the wheels to be sufficiently sharp. Clean up was easy due to the fact that the wheels are quite exposed. The curvature of the plastic head to one side made for easy collection of minced herbs after dicing, too. Great buy for five dollars!

Good tool for fresh pasta makers
I have already a pair of scissors specially made to mince herbs, and consequently I ordered this tool to cut fresh home made pasta dough. I would say that this product is really functional and great to make fettuccine. In effect, I had a Kitchen aid, and I wanted to buy its pasta accessories. I did not want to spend too much money so I only bought the roller pasta dough and saved acquiring this herb mincer. This alternative tool does not disappoint me because it cuts perfectly, but you have to be concentrated and pay attention to the dough. Put a little bit of flour on your dough, it will be easier.

A bit disappointed
I thought this would be great but the space between the blades is wide so whatever you’re cutting gets stuck & since it’s open on top, you can’t press down on it without cutting yourself. I bought it because I do HelloFresh meals & we have to mince garlic & onion a lot. But wouldn’t recommend it if you’re going to use it often.
