Having never used lifting straps previously, I have nothing to compare these to, so all I can say as that they feel like good quality, albeit time will tell.I used them for the first time yesterday and I'm so glad I made the purchase. My grip was my point of failure on rack pulls, especially when getting in to 3rd and 4th sets. Using these, not only was I able to get through without issue, I was able to increase the load quite a bit as well, which was a pleasant surprise.They are quite stiff, but I'm hoping that will disappear with use.All in all, I'm impressed.[Update July 2017]I've now been using these straps for a good couple of months especially on rack pulls and deadlifts and my lifts have gone from strength to strength. I personally only use them when I get to the point where my grip would fail as I still want that to improve as well. The straps themselves are freeing up a little, so not as stiff as they were when new which is good, but they still look like new with no signs of wear (albeit only a couple of months use on them yet). The rubber grips work well and give you that confidence that things aren't going to slip when pulling heavy.Not the cheapest straps around, but I'm glad I spent the extra few pounds on these.I have no problem recommending these, nor would I have an issue buying them again should the need arise.

Got these to replace some basic ones I’ve been using for a couple of years. Took a bit of getting used to as the straps are quite thick and long but the grip side made it much easier. They feel strong and the padding makes it comfortable when performing rows/deadlifts.

These straps are incredibly useful for me and help me to lift heavier weights than I would have been physically able. I have a deformity in my right hand that means any pulling type lifts are harder to perform due to grip even though I have the strength to lift that weight. Adapting the strap to suit my needs means I can lift without fear of dropping or losing grip meaning I can perform the reps I need. As all pushing type lifts are not an issue, my routine was limited to lighter weights on back and shoulder workouts and heavier on chest and arms. These have given me the ability to balance out the weight on my workouts. If they help me in this way then I am certain that for everyone else the benefits would be greater. The rubber padding is similar to those found on grip type socks or slippers and the strap itself is very very robust. Totally buy if you need extra support on your wrists.

I can't recommend these lifting straps enough. I had another pair of straps before these which were also purchased through amazon for twice the price and had 4 star reviews, but I found they were digging into my hands and causing extreme discomfort under heavy lifts, so I decided to try these only because I needed a cheap item to make another order up to £10 to receive free delivery, and I am extremely happy I did. The quality of the straps is amazing, extremely comfortable and super grippy. They are honestly worth 4 times what I paid for them and definetly worth more than others for sale on amazon. Very happy with purchase and as already said if you are wanting to purchase some lifting straps I cannot recommend these enough!

I've used these straps for about a week - or a weeks worth of workouts, anyway - they're made from strong material and seem well constructed; the stitching appears very good and shows no sign of giving way. The pad on the reverse side of the strap is great and cushions the area around the wrist/back of the hand which is nice since it helps to prevent the strap chafing or kind of cutting in to your hand that can occur with an unpadded strap.These straps, like any other straps, will not take you from zero to hero - as with all such equipment, we're talking about adding small percentages, which together - hopefully - add up to larger percentages. But if you're struggling to move to higher weights or reps, or if your grip gradually lets you down as your workout progresses, then a set of lifting straps such as these in your gym bag are certainly a worthwhile addition.

The reason I purchased these straps above others that I saw on Amazon was because of the padding for the wrists... IT just gives you that little extra lifting comfort. A strap that cuts off the circulation its not useful so this seems to prevent that. The stitching looks really good and strong. I also like the MAX GRIP area of the strap too stops them slipping on the bar. The price is incredible for the quality of the product, get a pair you cannot go wrong!!!

They may have worked for others, but not for me. Wanted to use them for pull-ups, but no good at all. The design with the strap going through the loop, hence being naturally oblique to the bar, rather than vertical (at right angle) does not allow good tightening. I have very thin wrists, meaning that I really need tight fit to feel any support. These straps could not possibly do that. Otherwise they really are very sturdy, so if you have huge hands, go for them.
