Van Heusen Men's Dress Shirt Slim Fit Flex Collar Stretch Solid

I have worn Van Heusen's dress shirts for years. I love them. This one is a little different than the ones I have purchased before because it is a slim cut and has some stretch to the fabric. I really like the slim cut as it fits me better. Those in more muscular shape than me and like to wear their shirts tight to show off their build will like this shirt. I personally prefer a loose fit which is why I ordered the large. This particular design does not have a shirt pocket, but I seldom used those anyway.

As a tall and thin individual with long arms, finding dress shirts that fit properly can be a challenge. Overall the shirts are nice and comfortable and fit well. Having worn button down white dress shirts for the last 40 years, I like the style, stretch, mobility and breathability, especially in the slim and athletic cuts now that maybe wasn't as good with the more traditional cotton/poly oxford or poplin fabrics back in the day. One drawback however, is that the newer, stretch fabric, doesn't hold up or last as long. I'm replacing shirts twice as often now but doubt I'll go back to the older style shirts. The benefits outweigh the drawbacks.

Whoever made this did everything they could to cut corners. The fabric is very thin and see-through, and it's not quite wrinkle free. When you take it out of the dryer, you still see some wrinkles, so it's more wrinkle resistant than wrinkle free, and the fit is a little on the puffy side, so it's not quite slim fit. The makers did everything they could to just get their foot in the door to be called slim fit and wrinkle free, and once you get it, you'll be disappointed that it's barely all of the above.

This Van Heusen shirt is fabulous. It washes well with no wrinkling - dry it and wear it. The slim fit is just that for the athletic body, no gapping, no coming out of the pants. Perfect fit around the neck, nice looking collar points, not too short or long. Has a little stretch and has not shrunk after 10 washes or so. Highly recommend this men's shirt.

I purchased two of these shirts for my husband. They are comfortable, lightweight, and do not shrink in the wash. They came nicely pinned and folded like any other high quality white shirt would. They are a little bit more see-through than other white shirts, but we still think the pros outweigh that one con. They are a nice bright white that looks really fresh and clean compared to the old white shirts we replaced.

Really nice quality shirt

Perfect shirt and good value for money. It fits just as it should, the material is airy but not see through. I bought it for my Dad who likes a classic cut and can be a bit fussy he was very happy with it.

Very nice quality and colour but the shirt has no pocket so for some men it’s important to have shirt pocket. Otherwise beautiful shirt, fast delivery and reasonably priced
