It's a decent fan
I bought this fan for my 5 year old sons bedroom. Ideally I would have liked a smaller fan (maybe 8 or 10 inches) but this one I fitted very easily on the wall in 5 minutes.TIP : Plug it in before fixing it to the wall so you know how high you can have it. I live in a new build so plug sockets are 2 feet up the wall so that helps with height. The lead is approximately 1.5 metres long. This fan is fairly quiet, quiet enough not to prevent my 5 year old son from sleeping. It really is a decent fan but it's not for small rooms at all. I don't know is the manufacturer/seller do have small versions of it but it's worth enquirung first which is something I should have done. Other than that, this fan works brilliantly with it's speeds and oscilating. It only needs to be on speed 1 (the lowest setting) to keep my sons room cool over night and we don't use the oscilating function but both do work perfectly.Feedback for the manufacturer - as you can see from my pictures, why have you decided to have the power lead come out of the top of the fan and out of the bottom of the plug. If you changed the design to have the power lead come out of the bottom of the fan and out of the top of the plug, you'd give your customers an extra 6 to 8 inches of height from the plug socket - something to think about.

Budget Life Saver
This recent heatwave put my life at risk due to heart failure so we needed an extra fan to put over the bed. The average reviews are probably right; budget fan, poorly packed with occasional defects; mine was no exception. I was very concerned about the wall bracket not being big enough especially when you have to find a good solid wall to drill into whilst trying to missing soft mortar joints. Lucky me I found solid block. Although small the bracket does support the weight and doesn't appear to let the heavy motor move; just as well because we don't want that falling on our heads while we're asleep. The pull switch for controlling the rotation doesn't work (on ours) unless your willing to yank it off the wall so we leave it on. Its noisy especially on high setting but but when all you really want is a strong breeze your already suffering. Its definitely better than the two useless ceiling fans we have fitted that simply stir the warm air.I cant tell if its durable or reliable yet but so far its been a life saver and well worth purchasing which is why I'm offering four stars.

Efficient
Efficient fan. I placed it near to my head when we had very hot weather to keep cool. It is a little noisy it worth it

Brilliant!
So I'm a bit late to the wall fan party! I always buy a fan with those awful bases that wobble n end up wonky, then i discovered a wall fan and its definitely changed my life! 1st one I bought is on my bedroom wall and I needed one for the conservatory as there is limited space and it gets like a hot house in there. Boxed up nicely, and very easy to put together, undo plastic but, put on mesh back, screw on plastic bit to secure, pop on the blade and secure then clip in the mesh guard. I already had a screw in the wall so I hung up, plugged it in and voila! Has two pull cords one for speed and one for turning the fan left to right or keeping it still. Isn't too loud, and gives out a decent amount of breeze! Im very happy with it!

Works well.
I ordered this wall fan before there were any reviews for it. I've ordered things before that have had no reviews and they have turned out to be big mistakes. This fan however, was a good choice. It has 3 speeds which you can change by pulling the cord or turning a switch. It has a fitted plug and the cable length is about 150cm long. The fan oscillates at a nice steady speed. It was straight forward to fix the fan to the wall. You screw a small bracket to the wall and then screw the fan to the bracket. The screws for the wall were a little short in my opinion (2cm) so I use my own 3cm screws. It arrived in 2 days even though I was emailed and told I might have to wait a week for delivery. The fan itself has enough power so that I can feel a good breeze from 3 metres away when it is on speed setting number 3. I'm also pleased that it is fairly quiet too.

THIS FAN IS NOT DURABLE, AND IT WILL STINK FOR WEEKS
One of the problems with Amazon: stupid customers are encouraged and allowed to write reviews on supposedly durable products before they've had the test of time. It should be illegal to allow this because it leads to unwarranted customer confidence in badly made products which fail sooner than they ought to..I spent a lot of time one year ago, wiring and fitting this fan to the ceiling of a stair well so that it would blow warm air accumulating at the top of the house in winter and re-circulate it downwards. It's only ever run on the lowest setting speed, partly because of the noise level at higher speeds, and at first it worked fine and I was almost** (see later) pleased with it and my work.OK one year later the motor still works, the blades still turn... BUT!!... BUT!... the blades are made of such cheap plastic that, whereas when new they performed as required, they have gradually weakened and become so flexible that instead of them forcing the air to move, THE FORCE OF THE AIR NOW STRAIGHTENS THE BLADES. They spin but don't generate any draught! Not the first supposedly durable product I've bought from Amazon because of good reviews by people who can't wait to praise some cheap rubbish the day after they bought it, without properly testing it.But it will be the last time I fall for it.No chance of sending this fan back just over a year after purchase, and now it has to become a disgraceful environmental disaster as landfill material.DO NOT BUY THIS FAN UNLESS YOU'LL BE HAPPY TO BIN IT IN A FEW MONTHS.Yes, why the asterisk I inserted earlier? The fan did present an immediate problem when fitted: again, the blades I think. As soon as switched on the fan gave off a dreadful intense synthetic chemically smell for several weeks. We put up with this - hoping it wasn't carcinogenic! - and it gradually faded, but now I realise that the smell was the outward sign that the material of the blades was actually degenerating from Day 1!

funciona bien,
