Sensative SENE1110 Strips Guard - The Invisible Window and Door Sensor - White

Great product - while pretty expensive, have bought them for every window in my house. While instructions and design is easy to follow, for my windows (which are new), I find it very tricky to marry the contacts between the magnet and the strip. It can take me nearly 20/30 minutes of minor adjustments to get it working. So can be pretty frustrating, but I blame my windows rather than this product. Also worth mentioning the range, which is excellent. I have no issues getting this working with my home automation system, versus the previous open/close sensors would regularly drop off the network due to being outside the range from the hub. Overall, despite some grumbles, Id highly recommend this as the best/easiest solution out there for window sensors - and Ive researched them all exhaustively :-)

Waste of money - Cannot get this to work on a standard UPVC door - Tried multiple positions, but the magnet does not seem strong enough to activate the relay.Only way to get it working was to build up multiple strips of 3M tape to close the gap between the sensor and the magnet - Not workable. Going back to standard magnetic contacts!

Have only set up one so far but it connected to Smarthings immediately and works great on entrance door. Arrived quickly and well packaged

Bought this to do on a Door to connect to a Samsung SmartThings home setup, the Samsung sensors are bulky and last about 6-9 months on battery.These are discrete and have a quoted 10 year lifetime, as well as being outside rated. They work really well with a simple magnet triggering open/close.while expensive they are easy to fit, and over several years expect to make a saving over the standard sensor.Note you cannot change the batteries so once dead they are dead.So happy with them I bought another 3 pack to do external doors and garage door.The range on these things is very good, I have a 5 bed house with a garage far away from the hub and it still connects fine.

Love this product. A little expensive and would like to see a sustainable battery replacement option in the future. A bit of a Fiddle to align the magnet and I installed a stronger one as the distance was too far for the slim one supplied to work.Update. Battery dead after 3 years…. With almost zero use. Disappointing but replaced Foc

I have a few of these and they work great on UPVC doors, neat and concealed. I also have one outside on a gate.***UPDATE*** batteries failed in them all within 2 years. Gate one failed in a little over 12 months, probably got used a maximum of 4 or 5 times a day. Upvc door ones failed in 18 - 24 months. I had them set to wake every 24 hours, which is recommended for better battery life, I also had them set to never poll. Doors weren’t regularly used either :(Brilliant idea but 10 years battery life seems unacheivable. Sold for 10years battery. 1.5 years later, battery is flat and it has now stopped working. Sad as the broduct is otherwise brilliant.Note it is installed on a door opened 2 times a day, and 2m away from my hub, so nothing explains the extra battery usage...

Was ready to have a go at this product until I sussed it out. Initially I followed the instructions and it connected as expected. It then kept missing open and close signals, I was not happy, removed it from my smart things and introduced it again, same problem. At that point I was very unhappy with the strip and repacked it ready for return. At the very same time I was replacing my router and moving my things to a new site within the house and moves my smart things hub at the same time, Hey Presto, problem solved. I can only assume mesh had too much interference in its last position as since then it has not missed a beat. Works faultless and cannot be seen unless you open my door and look at the frame, we now have lights that come on for a while when the door opens or when we come home brilliant.Will buy more.

Mir haben diese dünnen Sensoren schon immer gut gefallen, habe aber keinen gekauft, weil es unklar war, ob diese mit devolo Home Control funktionieren. Nach dem letzten großen Update bei devolo sollte die Einbindung fremder Hardware verbessert werden. Also habe ich sowohl den Tür/Fensterkontakt als auch den Comfort probehalber bestellt. Die Einbindung hat gut funktioniert. Es werden zwar noch mehr Einheiten ohne Wert angezeigt, ist aber m.E. nicht schlimm. Beide Strips funktionieren so wie beschrieben. Anbei ein Screenshot von beiden Kacheln. Werde jetzt sehen, wie sich die Sensoren im Alltag schlagen. Zum Einbinden hatte ich unter Fremdgeräten einen "Z-Wave Controller" ausgewählt und hatte die Strips nur ca. 50cm von der Zentrale entfernt gehabt. Das hat sich bei batteriebetriebenen Sensoren immer bewährt.

Grande prodotto.Speriamo che la batteria duri davvero il tempo indicato nelle specifiche (circa 10 anni), perchè credo che non sia possibile cambiarla se non "spaccando" l'involucro, non ho visto viti. E anche riuscendoci, probabilmente si perde l'impermeabilità. Tra qualche anno vedremo comunque :)Il pairing avviene (quasi) immediatamente (configurato su razberry).Prendetevi qualche minuto per il montaggio perchè bisogna allineare bene il magnete e la barra. Per esempio nella mia porta blindata lo spazio tra la porta e la cornice in alto era fin troppo grande e non avveniva il contatto magnetico. Ho dovuto ingegnarmi con uno spessorino da mettere sotto la barra, per avvicinarla al magnete. Il tutto è sopra la porta comunque e rimane invisibile.Ho fatto il contrario di quello che suggeriscono le istruzioni (non montarlo sul metallo in quanto perde potenza) poichè la porta blindata è tutta in metallo, tuttavia il segnale sembra funzionare correttamente (ricevitore zwave a circa 15-20 metri, con due pareti in mezzo).

Très bon produit. Facile à mettre en place et en oeuvre. Reconnu facilement par EEdomus cela fonctionne très bien. J'ai cependant été un peu trop optimiste: ma boite aux lettres étant à 9 mètres j'ai environ 30% de qualité réseau avec parfois des pertes de quelques minutes. Ce qui n'enlève rien aux qualités du produit. Je compte bien en prendre d'autres pour les portes cette fois car c'est vraiment très discret.

Un producto de 10!!! Es una lámina de unoa 3 mm y el sensor de apertura por imán va a continuación de ella, no encima como cabría esperar, así que solo son 3mm y cabe en casi cualquier sitio. Un buen invento la verdad, lo aconsejo.

Die Streifen sind bei mir seit ca. 2,5 Jahren im Einsatz. Das Anlernen im Z-WAVE-Netzwerk war an sich schon eine Geduldsprobe, aber dass jetzt nach ca. 2,5 Jahren die Batterien auch noch ihren Geist aufgeben (angegeben mit 10 Jahren!), machen diese Sensoren zu einer sehr teuren Angelegenheit.Bei Amazon bestellt und durch Amazon verkauft. Leider finde ich nirgends die Möglichkeit die zu geringe Laufzeit zu reklamieren.
