Tala Stainless Steel Jam Funnel, Extra wide neck for funnelling freshly made preserve into jars, Ideal for Jams, Marmalade, Chutney and Relishes

This is a very nice, simple and lightweight funnel which serves its purpose very well. It can be used hands-free without fear of toppling as the funnel spout is fairly long and a reasonably close fit in the neck of the smaller 8oz jars. The downside to this of course is that the spout will end up immersed in the jam/jelly if filling jars to the correct level (within 1/4" of the top).Another small point to be aware of is that this aluminium funnel is formed by spinning the aluminium into shape using a shaped die head against a former; so just don't expect a mirror smooth finish. The funnel is still easy to clean despite the machining marks left by the manufacturing process. I am so glad I bought this funnel, I have just finished bottling up over 100 jars of various jams and jellies, all done with ease and minimal spillage or mess.

great for large jars

Looks exactly like it is in the photo. It was delivered promptly and packaged perfectly.I have used this when making jam and it saved me a lot of time. Before this, I was having to spoon the jam into jars and I couldn't use a too large spoon as the jam jars I use are small. However, with this is takes only seconds as I just pour it in with no worries. It is also very easy to clean and stays nice and shiny so still looks like new.It you make jam I highly recommend you invest in this because it saves so much time. I wouldn't make jam again without it because of the time it saves me.As it is a functional thing and it does what is meant to do there is no real negatives I can add about this product.

I liked this one as it can go in the dishwasher. The size with handle is great when pouring in the boiling jam mixtures.

Excellent, does the job perfectly

Wished i had purchased this sooner. It was very easy to fill jars without the mess I had experienced when ladling the jam into jars.

my funnel arrived quickly and as described. I have used the item to make my plum jam and it worked perfectly, no more mess and spooning the jam into the jars. Just the right size to fill the jars to the brim. Hope to have many years of use and the price was good too.
