I bought this tripod to take time lapse videos and to have something that I could take out and about when making short videos for business purposes. I chose this because it had very good reviews and I particularly wanted a Bluetooth remote control. The product arrived very quickly and I'm delighted with it. It's really good quality and remarkably sturdy. It's better than I had hoped and I'm delighted.

OverviewThe UFO2 by Fotopro seems to be a really sturdy tripod with a robust design that can hold anything ranging from a phone to a DSLR. I bought this tripod as I needed a flexible mount for my GoPro timelapses and it seems to do an excellent job at it.Packaging & ContentsThe item came in a white cardboard box (no branding on it so you can just throw it away) with all the items packed individually in plastic bags.You get the tripod, manual, phone holder, GoPro mount and a Bluetooth remote for your phone.In ActionThe tripod’s legs have 2 steps (they don't have a lock) so you either have them wide spread or close together. They are flexible enough to bend around any sort of pipe, tubing or weird shaped object and the quality of the rubber is good enough to give you a perfect grip. The mount has a 1/4" thread and the round plastic base is detachable, giving you a longer screw to fit in another ballhead on it or any other mount.The phone mount extends enough to fit any wider phones, and it does have 2 screw mounts (one on the bottom and one on the side) so you can attach your phone in various positions.The Bluetooth battery runs on a CR2032 cell and should last you for ages. The pairing is quite fast and the phone should detect it automatically after it's been switched on. There is a 1 second delay between pressing the button and the actual photo trigger, and I've also found that you have to hold the button for 1 second for it to send the "photo trigger signal".Things to improveI would like to see an actual leg lock in the future on this tripod. Those 3 red triangle shapes are just for design, but they could transform them into actual buttons to lock the position of the legs.ConclusionThis tripod will probably serve me well for the next couple of years on various shoots. Overall I'm pretty impressed by the quality of the manufacturing and the design, so I think that £20 is a decent price to pay for something like this.

Absolutely love this product. I previously had the Gorilla pod which is much more expensive and not as versatile. The rubber coated twistable legs on the Fotopro grip so much better, even on ice. Highly recommend this product.

Have Used for a few days and here I'm back to put my review. I'm really satisfied with this purchase. Its design is pretty good. Those legs which are covered with anti slippery material does hold on things, like tree Branches or table legs. This is what I've looking for and I believe it can last for quite a long time. i use this with my Olympus EPL6 with 2 lenses, the kit is about 600gr, and the tripod just holds them perfectly without any issue, feels safe, looks beautiful as well...

Well built - does the job - I’m a rec user of a canon 800d and it would be fine for vlogging hand held. Easy iPhone attach for swapping in and out of the the two. Have a mini joby but this mid size pod is an all rounder and looks tidy for all situations. For the price it’s great and well worth the spend. The Bluetooth remote connects to iPhone but not 800d but that requires a bespoke canon remote.

I was looking for a tripod tht was durable and portable. this ticks all boxes and I don't have to worry about the grip which is amazing. Will hold device well and ball joint allows perfect adjustments to be made. As you can see I have an Action Cam gripped around a boat whilst on a cruise and not worried at all that it will drop. Will.highly recommended to all. Comes with holder with two screwing threads to add versatility and a Bluetooth remote which allows you to take wireless pictures.
