Fun
I was looking for a way to get minis for less than the boxes of per painted minis. These fit the bill perfectly. Nice price and a great selection of minis. My players really enjoy having them. It helps the world come to life for them. I have purchased several different ones and have no regrets. I would recommend getting some plastic book card sleeves to keep them in. It will help you keep them organized.

Great minis, but missing key elements
I bought the DnD Starter set to introduce my kids to DnD. These minis go with that starter set (Dragons of Stormwreck Isle). The minis are great, and you can't beat the value of 2d minis over the 3d options. They are printed front and back with a front and rear view. They're sturdy feeling and I think they'll last a long time. You also get quite a few minis, including 5 heros and a horde of monsters. My issue was with the choices the company made in regards to which minis from the adventure are provided.Adventure Spoilers ahead.---‐-------------------------1st combat encounter, "drowned sailors":Zombies, not included.2nd combat, "Seagrow Caves":Spore servant octopus, not included.Violet Fungus, not included.Stirges, included!Fume Drakes, not included.Fire snake, not included.Myconid sprouts and a named myconid adult are included, however, most parties will not fight those creatures unless they absolutely just feel like slaughtering stuff.3rd combat encounter: "Cursed Shipwreck": Zombies, not included.Ghoul, not included.Harpies, not included.Final combat encounter, "Clifftop Observatory":Kobolds, included!Winged kobold, not included.Stirges, included.Blue dragon wyrmling, included.Bronze dragon wyrmling (possibly ally), not included.Optional encounters:Hot Springs Havoc:Fume drakes, not included. There, there, Owlbear:Owlbear, included.Kobold Renegades:Kobolds, included. Winged kobold, not included. So, there you have it. The only included minis that are guaranteed to see combat are the stirges and the kobolds (and never as many as are included.)Removing half of the kobolds and half of the stirges and including some fume drakes, or the fire snake, or some zombies would have been nice. All of myconids are essentially NPCs and could have been reduced or eliminated and replaced with some of these other monsters.I know some DMs and players use minis during social interactions with NPCs as well, but I think a majority of players want to see them during combat specifically, and this set fails at that.So again, the minis in the kit are actually very nice, but considering this pack is sold specifically for the Dragons of Stormwreck Isle adventure, we're a little disappointed in the selection.

Great product, but woefully incomplete.
In an ideal world, a product at this MSRP, as a companion to a starter set, would have most or all of the pieces needed for playing that starter set. We are not in an ideal world. The product itself is well executed, and I wish I had noticed the option to store the pieces back in the acrylic sheet after play. The art is good and printed clearly. The figures included are good for the final chapter of the adventure, as well as the random encounter options.I had the unfortunate experience of expecting these to be useful at the *beginning* of the campaign, but pretty much everything to fight, with one exception, in the first two thirds of the adventure were not included in the set. They've been punched out, set up, and put back in the box until at least a month when we will get to them. Very disappointing. The "character" figures don't make much effort to coordinate with the pre-built character sheets, which seems to be the only reason why you would include them in a set like this. Instead, WizKids chose to go with the in-joke characters in the adventure art; characters in the 40-year-old DnD cartoon series. History is fine, but it's totally wasted on a set designed and intended for an introduction to Dungeons and Dragons.I wish this had a third sheet with some of the classic monster staples that are encountered. That would have made this set utterly perfect. As it is, it really misses the mark.

Quick and helpful
I did set up a short campaign for 2 kids and their dads. This is an affordable and quick way to put some minis on the table.

Stormwreck 2d set
Played with my children. The characters were beautiful and easy to store after game play.

Decent But Incomplete
Decent set, but missing several important figures from the campaign, like Zombies, Fungus, Octopus. You'll need to sub or pick up several other sets.

Good minutures!
Okay so they're maybe a little cheesy, but they're great quality and perfect for gameplay. Easy to see who is who and stand really well.
