This is a piece of tat, but I suppose you get what you pay for. The instructions are virtually incomprehensible, being a poor translation from Chinese. The diagram in the instruction leaflet which labels the parts is so faint and the numbers so small that I found it very hard to read. The buttons are small and fiddly and you need to memorise them as you won't be able to read them once the camera is in place. The instructions refer to a confirm key, which doesn't appear to exist, unless they mean the OK key, so why not say so? Having set it up with an automatic off timer, the camera continued to run and the only way to get it to stop is to disconnect the power. Speaking of which, the connector which fits in the cigarette lighter sticks out rather a long way, so it remains to be seen if it interferes with the operation of the gear stick in my car. All this before I've even tried driving with it recording. The battery life is pathetic and by the way, there is no TF chip supplied, so you need to buy one separately. I hope it does what it's supposed to do, but I'm not holding my breath as when I returned to check the settings I'd made, they didn't seem to have registered. Not a good start and does not get my recommendation. Sorry.

Received product promptly. Instructions very difficult to follow but following advice of a previous post downloaded manual for Swan dashcam, which appears identical, and instructions much easier to follow. Once installed was happy with product and recorded videos look clear and easily read.However had problem with charger which broke when taking it out of car socket. Ordered another charger from a different supplier and dashcam would not work. Wrote to supplier who sent me a new one which arrived within a few days. Since then worked well so happy with service and no-quibble response to problem.

Worked great for a few days away in Scotland. Next time out however it worked for about five minutes before the LCD screen went blank so there is no real time picture. Haven't looked on card yet to see if it was still recording but a bit pointless anyway if no real time view.Update.........I have to update my original review.While trying to get this to work I have discovered a very small button type thing on the bottom of the device. This appears to be a rest button so while knocking it on I pressed and held this and the device appears to have reset itself.The devic now works perfectly every time giving excellent quality videos. For the price I am most impressed with it.I have now upgraded my review to 5 stars.It appears the fault was mine and not the device.

This is the second of these cameras I have bought. I tested the first in my own car and was very pleased with it. I bought it to replace a much more sophisticated camera, costing four times the price, which failed after a couple of months (I had two of them and both failed). It is a very simple camera taking videos (or photos) and looping, with the usual button to lock a recording so that it is not overwritten. The instruction leaflet, I admit, is very poor but I found instructions online for a Swann Economy Dash Camera, which is almost identical, and they were much more reader friendly. The first camera has been running in my car now for several months and I have had no problems. It even sticks up behind my mirror which the fancy camera would not do, so I had no qualms about buying another for my wife.

Great dash cam and have nothing but good to sat on all aspects except for one. The holder although secure is a little delicate if your having to constantly slide it out of the mount. I never leave mine on display so it's essential that there is a release feature on them which unfortunately this one doesn't have. Aside from that, Great value for money

Not sure if it is the camera or the san disk that plays up but screen goes blank after a bit although it carries on recording.I have another of these and would give 5/5 for that well worth the money with a really good picture on playback

Not the best quality picture even at 1080p, but what do you expect for the price? I keep it at 720p and quality of acceptable for me. Not easy to work out at first but once set up it just works as expected.

Good dashcam, instructions a little vague due to translation I suspect but managed to set it up ok considering the price I think it is good value I bought a 32gb card to use with it.
