My grandson has problems gripping so I bought this to help him practice. He LOVES it! The peg does come out of the base a bit too easily but that is so minor compared to the good it does him, that I am willing to overlook it.

I have one of these that is tge 2 toned one that is heavier plastic material however that one fell apart real quick. This one is incredibly light cheesy quality plastic however so far it has not fallen apart. I don't like that is is a lower quality plastic but maybe it needed to be that way due to the other one falling apart so easily. For some reason the app is not letting me upload any photos.

I got this for my nephew who is 17 months old and he has a fascination with spinny toys and this is a HIT! he absolutely loves it! Stacks the gears on and off constantly. He even carries the red gear around with him! It was a solid purchase

I purchased this for work and have the other brand (fat brain toys) at home. The big difference is how sturdy the two toys are. The fat brain version will definitely last longer. The material is thicker and better made. My son is not gentle with toys at age 2 and neither are my clients at work. The fat brain toy is still in perfect condition (at home) while the FineSource is starting to break (the base). They both work the same so it just depends on who will be playing with it and how long you would like it to last. In my opinion, pay a little more and get the fat brain version.

I want to recommend to clients however the bottom piece broke easily within the first few days

My 18 month old daughter was in PT for a bit, and they had a very similar toy there. This was her absolute favorite thing there, so I was really excited to find it on Amazon! She loves this toy so much! The rings/gears spin as they travel down the pole, which memorizes my daughter, and entertains her for long periods of time. The base stays attached to the pole nicely, but does come apart if you want it to. The only reason I gave it 4 stars for durability and sturdiness is because my 6 year old son took the pole and was swinging it around like a sword banging it on things. The pole did bend a little, but I was able to straighten it out afterwards.

We've discovered this toy while taking our daughter to speech therapy sessions. It is one of her favorites and have helped us to work with her on the words up, down, spin, and colors. She absolutely loves the fact it spins on and the disc's spin off. It keeps her engaged and entertained. Something fun we can do together for learning!!

A little flimsy for the price, but my toddler loves it. I don’t use it in therapy regularly.
