I love these songbooks! I'm a Simply Music piano teacher so these books give my students the opportunity to play chords accompaniment style AND to read the melodies... lots of singalongs happening in our classes thanks to the GASA books!

Excellent collection of songs that everyone should know. We used to learn these tunes in public school. That is no longer the case. If you live in the United States, then you need to know these songs as they are part of our musical and cultural history.

These books are great for teaching all those songs we adults know but our middle school kids don't. The format is great: one page per song, melody, words and the chords written above it (most of which have an alternative capoed-guitar key for the transposing impaired). Highly recommended for parents, teachers, and folk song enthusiasts.

We are using this book to sing around at convalescent hospitals, etc.
