Perfect Travel Fins for short swims
Overall, I liked these flippers a lot. I used them for a week-long snorkeling trip in the Bahamas and was pleased with the results.Pros:1. Easy to transport. Compact size makes them easy to carry, especially if flying. I was able to take them in my carry-on.2. Easy to walk in. Walking forward in flippers is usually impossible, but you can in these!3. Easy to take on/off. The short length and quick-tighten straps makes these easy to manage when you're getting pounded by waves in the surf zone. They're also easy to quickly adjust while swimming.4. Comfortable. The rubber heel strap cinches on both sides making them highly adjustable.5. Wide size range. I have W size 7 feet and got the small which fit great, and they also worked on someone with much larger feet than my own. This also means that you should probably wear them with swim booties though.Cons:1. Require more energy to swim. It makes sense that since these are compact flippers, they have less surface area and thus aren't as effective as larger flippers. The question is, how much less effective are they than bigger flippers? I definitely needed to work harder to get around in these. However, I'm not a very strong swimmer, and for the most part short swims in calm to moderately choppy water were fine. On longer swims though it was pretty exhausting using these flippers, especially when the tide was going out. I would have felt much safer in larger fins that were more energy-efficient.Overall, these were excellent fins. If you're only using them in a pool, calm water, or for short snorkels, or if you're a confident swimmer they are great, but if you're doing something more involved you might want to consider standard-sized fins.

Travel Fins
This is my second set. My first fins lasted about 6 years before the rear strap broke on one fin. The replacement strap cost more than purchasing new fins. I researched alternatives but bought another pair. I used diving socks when breaking them in, then used them without diving socks. (I should have said I put many swim and snorkeling miles on the first pair). I was stung by stingrays twice, with the barb penetrating the bottom of the fin, but the fin reduced the penetration into my foot. They are great for travel and everyday use.

Loose straps
These fins have a good weight to them and work really well. The only downside is that I had to stop multiple times to tighten the straps so they didn’t slip off mid swim.

Very good product, but not perfect
These fins worked pretty well. I actually like the smaller size better than the larger, more traditional fins. These are much easier to walk around in these, and they were very easy to slip on and off, even while trying to balance on sharp rocks against the waves. The only reason I can't give them 5 stars is because the heel strap was somewhat unreliable. The heel strap slips through a clip, which snaps into the fin. At one point, the strap slipped off the clip, and I ended up having to swim back to shore with only one fin while holding the other against my chest. It was tricky enough to slip back in place while on land. It would have been downright impossible while treading water in the middle of the ocean. After this experience, I learned to keep the strap centered on my heel and would occasionally tighten it while in the water. This seemed to prevent the issue from reoccurring.

Great Flippers, but Narrow
+LightSmallEasy to adjust/put onLike the striking color of the Black/Yellow-NarrowThese are my first short fins, and so far I am very impressed. From my research online, for my purposes, snorkeling and shallow (maybe 25 feet) diving, short fins are the way to go. They do seem to require a bit more strength to get you the same distance, but they are much easier to carry, weigh less, and make it harder to accidentally kick things with your fins. I picture that these are more like wearing overly long shoes. My only concern is that they are a bit narrow on my feet, which are size 10ish male and I got the large size fins. Other reviewers have commented on this as well, it's not a huge deal but I would be more comfortable if these had been 10 wide I guess. Point being, make sure you get a larger size than you think you might need. I had thought maybe I could wear my booties with these but no chance of that happening, I'll probably get a neoprene sock, but maybe not as that would make it even tighter.

Great for the price and easy to travel with
Great for the price and easy to travel with...fits in a carry-on. The fins don't come with a carry bag. They were comfortable barefoot...no need without neoprene socks. Good for beginners too....I was a first time snorkeler....my friend got a pair also and was expert and loved them as well. The tightening buckles worked but were a bit finicky and kinda flimsy. I used them 5 times, a couple hours each time in Hawaii and they worked well and were comfortable and didn't cause any blister or problems. This pair I received had quick release heel straps as well as a cinching buckle. Another pair a friend got didn't have the quick release....they both worked great and I didn't see a need for a quick release once the were cinched. You can easily slide the heel strap on and off in the water...but it never fell off or came loose, even in rough water and waves. I noticed the prices vary on Amazon...so shop around on here.

Muy buenas
Son más cortas que las aletas tradicionales de snorkel pero se compensa por ser más anchas, por lo que tienen un excelente desempeño y son mucho más fáciles de transportar en un viaje, en lo personal las recomiendo mucho.

Bright, good river and pond size, but straps are iffy
When I buy these I immediatly replace the straps. the adjuster snaps off and also the pull rings tear open. This is my fourth purchase of this shorty fin, better straps with connectors are $20. through Amazon

Poor sizing
Sizing very misleading originally purchased a medium from another supplier. Tried a large size thinking they be wider and longer.Only difference is that large is about 1/2 inch longer. Same width. I have elected to make do with the large size even though no significant between medium and large. Not very pleased with piuchase

Decent value
Great compact product. Easy to travel with. The strap on the back is prone to coming undone.
