I give this 1 a big thumbs up, After completing it,it is a lot sturdier than you would think, it stands well on its own without a standaltho a-bit of balancing is needed. (see pictures)Only con is the same as others have mentioned and that is the seer amount of stickersin this kit,You will need fine tweezers and some wooden cocktail/tooth picks to apply them satisfactory.And if your not an expert in applying stickers, You will be after building this kit. ( Like myself i found some new tricks in applying them after this one lol ).In the pictures i have applied panel lining, And given it a worn, but not a heavy weathered look.Some extra orange and black paint in places to add extra details. (mainly legs and vent on backpack)Plus a Matt top coat to finish it all off

Got this as a gift for a family member who is into making the Gundam models. With it being part of a series there are numerous other Gundams that can be purchased to build the collection up. This is ideal for any Gundam fan and would look good in a glass cabinet or even on a shelf.

First off, this is my very first gunpla, and gunpla experience. It was a great building experience. I was honestly expecting more difficulty in the making of the chest area, but that was probably one of the easiest. There is indeed 40+ stickers to be put here. Most of them are small, but there are some big ones. its all about how you first place them and how you guide the rest of it into its place. Overall, I am very happy with everything, including the difficulty of the assembly and the model itself (Akihiro was low-key my favourite character in IBO). Colour themes are almost accurate, but definitely pleasant to the eye.Now to the cons of this review: Its a little hard to balance the model with all of the bulk that it carries such as the backpack(I love it though) and the Scissor Rear Armor, so most of the time I take the latter out and its considerably easier to keep it on its feet without an action base. I have no idea why the joints are made of the softest material, some of the body pieces come off with a certain frequency and I feel like that could have easily been improved if a harder material was made for the joints. No additional weapons aside from the awesome Scissor Rear Armour ;(

Love that I was able to order this from Amazon directly and at a reasonable price too. I order from Japan mostly but will definitely order more from Amazon if they start stocking more models.Husband is a huge gundam fan and has been building the models for ages. Would definitely recommend.

This was my second ever gundam I ever attempted to build. Also the first to stand on it's own. I found it a great thing to build. My only complaints are the arms in the shoulder blade aren't that easy to build. I almost broke them. I would have liked it to have 4 rifles for each hand like in the show but other then that no complaints.

My brother put it together but found the hip joint was a bit loose and could do with some strengthening other than that an amazing kit and looks awesome

Some of the parts broke during assembly .. delivery good and quick and cheap kit

Good, but literally found it cheaper at a nearby store, like 14 £, but had already bought it here😅
