W.E. Roberts Double Wall Packing Cartons Flat-Packed [Pack of 15] (457 x 305 x 305mm)

I bought 2 packs of these boxes for moving and was really pleased with them.Most of the boxes were filled 2/3 times (because we were too lazy to make them all up) and none gave out even when filled with all of our heavy kitchen stuff!We managed to fill them full and fairly heavy without any worry about breakages etc. I wouldn't fill all of them completely with heavy items as there will only be so much they can take, they are cardboard boxes after all.The boxes are a good size to carry - I have had some that I couldn't get my arms around to pick them up properly - but did not have this problem with these boxes. My brothers even managed to stack 2 and carry them, but that was a bit much for me!Since moving, we have flattened all of the boxes and they are in our garage - saving for when we move again since most of them were still in very good condition and can easily be used again.I am really happy with this purchase - they arrived quick, were a good quality and I will be able to use them again.

Super sturdy boxes used them for cross country moving and while they were damaged on the way my things were fine. Also if you are a bit careful with the ducktape they can be used again but they are expensive.

I find these boxes to be just the right size for packing, as when full with everything but the heaviest of items they are still easy to handle.When we last moved house, the removal people supplied the boxes, and once they had gone home we found they were far too big and heavy for us to move. These ones are just perfect.!As with all flat pack boxes, they do work better if you flex the folds both ways before assembly.These days I have to use a walking stick when the old arthritis is playing up, leaving only one hand free.So I cut down two of those well-known supermarket everlasting hessian shopping bags leaving just one handle-side and the bottom panel, then stitched the bottom panels together along the length. Hey Presto! , a sling to carry the boxes one-handed.( it's a thing that comes with age; I tried to avoid it but it's inevitable)

Perfect sized boxes for moving home. Can fit a fair amount of heavy items in but still easy to handle and lift. I thought the strength and thickness of the boxes was fine, they even survived stacking 3-4 high in the van. I have even kept the used boxes in case anyone else i know has a use for them as they could easily be used twice. Worth buying a roll of good quality tape, only needed one strip across the join on the base and they held fine.Do agree with other reviews that there is no protection at all when delivered so some bashed corners.

18x12x12 optimum packing box size. Having moved 12 time in 10 years this is the best size for ease of packing and man handling medium/ heavy items. Very please with the quality of the product - easily the same quality as those purchased from the 'high street' but at s fraction of the cost. So much so I've just ordered another 15 boxes. Some negative reviews mention lack of handles and having to use tape - well yes!!! These are not fold up archive boxes with formed bases. These are good quality thick double corrugated cardboard boxes of simple basic design which needs tape to secure the bottom etc. They do the job admirably and and if you look after them (cut the tape/ not tear from the box) will keep on working... Above all fantastic no frills storage & moving box. Recommend

I need these boxes for a house move. They arrived quickly and in good condition. They were wrapped at each end which protected the ends. They were also tied together. Yes, there was some denting at the top and bottom of the outer boxes but it wasn't anything extreme and the boxes are still fine.They are strong and sturdy and are the right size for easy maneuvering. They also stack when filled without crushing.Obviously you have to be sensible. The bottoms must be properly taped up. You should also not overfill them. They are, after all, cardboard.If you need to pack pots and pans then either spread them through a few boxes or don't be a cheapskate and buy some plastic crates.For the price I think these are the best value at the moment.

These boxes are excellent. Good size for packing everyday items for house moves, very solid double skinned cardboard. Arrived while we were out but very well wrapped in cling film, so totally waterproof and unlike other reviews we got the 15 boxes we ordered, all in perfect condition. We said we would definitely buy again if we needed more and did rate five starsCARE!! We needed more boxes so hit the order this item again and have now down graded to two stars. Sorry to WE Roberts for this it is not your fault. We did not know that Amazon would change both the supplier and the items when re-order is selected. The second batch were supplied by a company called A1 Packaging and not W E Roberts. When delivered there are two other companies listed on the documentation who we have never heard of. The boxes themselves are of a much poorer quality, supposedly double walled but actually one wall is completely crushed on all fifteen boxes, so they are effectively single wall. There is no printing on the box where the WER boxes all had reference number and size printed on each box, so we suspect these are not WER product but a cheaper alternative, supplied from who knows where. We feel badly let down by Amazon on this and will never use the order this product again button as it does not do what it says.

Came flat packed wrapped in some sellphane, not a great way to transport this type of item, but in our case we had no damage.The boxes themselves are easy to assemble and we purchased some packaging tape to secure the bottom of the boxes.Had no issues with the product and they did what we wanted them to do which was to provide us with a tidy place to store some of our gear during a move.You will need to be careful how heavy you fill these boxes as the packaging tape will only hold so much, but we did that and ended up moving things nice and easily, and were able to at least empty them at our leisure the other side of the move.
