Resonable for the price.The dealer send the product right the day i ordered one.Practice Chanter works extremely well,I’ve tested all the drone reeds, they also work well (you are going to have to buy some extra reeds due to risk of getting some damaged reeds)Well the bag it self, dispite it’s made out of synthetic, seems like holding the air pretty well.Couldn’t really tested out how it’d sound well when I completely assemebled it, because i’m living in an apartment... (you don’t really want to piss neighbors off)Anyway i recommend this product to you guys.For a guys who’s living far away from the Europe, it’s too hard to get those awesome Europian instruments. I haven’t tried African Blackwood pipes, so this is the best bagpipes i’ve ever tried it almost seems like...Ps. I think you forgot to send me plastic drone reeds....:p but that’s okay i guess cos every single drones kind of working well ;)

Certainly looks like the genuine cultural thing, but why no assembly instructions for the thicko English? As the wife has a rich Scottish heritage, I thought that, we may not be able to play them but at least we can hang them on the wall and impress callers. Thank goodness for You-tube, but I still can't get more than a squawk out of them. Peter Johnson

These pipes look good but are not fit for purpose. On turning up at her first lesson my daughter was told these would look good hanging on the wall but no good for anything else. She was unfortunately not the only pupil with this set told the same thing. Be very carefully when researching for beginners pipes. These are not it.

Disclslosure: I have not bought these. However, I play the bagpipes and have done for decades, competitively, on parades, weddings, dinners and played in the military, so I know what I am talking about.It pains me when I see people buying these to learn to play. I frequently get asked about these cheap sets. If you just want a decoration they look fine. However, for quality of tone and pitch you need to spend more, and get good reeds. If you can't afford new then get a second-hand set of African Blackwood or similar. Listen to the tone. Get a professional to listen and give you an opinion. You wouldn't buy a £90 piano from Amazon and expect it to be well tuned and have a wonderful sound. Apply the same principles to the bagpipes.Get these for decoration yes - they look fine. But don't get for learning or serious playing.
