One side not as soft :(
My biggest complaint is that it came with a little sample square and the material of that is very soft and fluffy whereas the blacker it self is more stiff and matted. Possibly prewashed several times but a bummer to see how soft it could’ve been.

Comfortable and warm blanket for the winter/spring
My current comforter is not enough, especially in the mornings, I get pretty cold. This blankets is really comfortable on both sides, and could serve as a second layer of bedding. Sometimes I also sleep with just it with out the comforter. Highly recommend!

Not wool fleece
This isn't wool fleece as it says in description. It is polyester fleece and made in China. These are things that should be listed. Has zero washing instructions or care taking instructions. Tried to find a way to contact seller, but couldnt.

Soft and warm
Love the softness of the blanket both sides. Very comfortable and plush, you can feel the EMI layer inside but it doesn't effect the blanket. It's very comfortable when I'm just lounging and it's easy to wash and maintain. One of my favorite blankets, can't speak about the EMI protection because there's no way for me to test but as a blanket it's excellent.

Great protective blanket and comfortable
This blanket is very soft and comfortable. I am quite happy with it, it also doesn't have any lumps or stiffness and quite warm. So as a blanket it hits all the marks and is a great blanket. I have been using it on cold nights as a throw and am very happy with this.I don't have a EMI tester to see how much it works to block radiation so hopefully it does work. I did try putting my cell phone under it and it didn't effect the signal at all. It does say you have to test it with a proper EMI tester but I would have expected to see at least some effect in signal strength.

It Works
I did my version of the test they recommend. I took an EMF/Radiation meter (available on Amazon), initiated a call on my cell phone, then took a reading of the phone. It was 75mG (milliGauss). Then I took the phone, still on the call and placed it under one layer of the blanket. The number went to zero on the meter. Of course, when I took it back out, it went back up and started beeping that is was a dangerous* level of EMF. We'll leave that for another discussion. This proves that the blanket attenuates a very significant amount of EMF by blocking the signal. Now, all of you who know what a Faraday cage is, this is not that. A Faraday cage is a complete enclosure that has the EMF blocking agent in full contact with its self in every direction. That is not possible because the blanket itself blocks contact around the edges. Still, it is a huge help in avoiding EMF signals. As we learn about new dangers to our everyday lives, this may be a good choice for a pregnant mom. When a cell phone emits enough of a signal to be dangerous*, imagine what a microwave emits. That same meter was off the chart when I used in front of a microwave oven. I had to go half way across my kitchen to get back to safe*. My wife took it to a friend's house that was much older and their microwave was a 'dangerous' level everywhere in the kitchen. The blanket is comfortable and really does lower the EMF you will be exposed to. In our expanding world where things like the brand new 5g is essentially a microwave transmitter, maybe it is better to be safe than find out later you could have protected yourself and chose not to. Just sayin'.* By the meter's metrics, which I can not verify.
