Sturdy and easy close
One push to open, one push to close. Very nice material. A little heavy for girls.

It's an umbrella..
I was not very impressed with the functionality of the umbrella. It does not retract with ease, you need to use a bit of force for this. There aren't any spectacular features of the umbrella, but it serves its purpose.Overall it has a nice visual design and seems to be made with durable materials.

High Quality, Feels Expensive
It would be very difficult not to rate this umbrella 5 stars. Everything about it screams quality. Honestly, if you didn't know it was made in China you'd think Germany or maybe the UK or somewhere they take umbrellas seriously. The canopy is made from Polyester and the main shaft and the inner part of each of the ribs are made of steel. The outer part of each rib are made from fiberglass. As you can see from my picture, there are also springs, tension arms, rivets, connectors.... it's made from about 2 or 3 times as many parts as the cheap umbrellas I own. I suppose that might mean more opportunities for failure, but it all just seems well crafted. It springs open at the press of a button, and the top part collapses again with another press. One thing about this..once you've pressed the button to close it, you need to compress it all the way down again and fully close before re-opening. This is because some of the control cords inside the shaft area don't go back in until you do and so it won't lock out. Not a real issue, but something to know. It does take some force to close it fully again, but I don't find it an issue. If I were going to try to find fault it's that the little black sleeve it comes with will just kind of fall off. It has no way to keep it closed. It would have been nice if it had a drawstring. Also, I found it slightly difficult to get the umbrella compressed down to its original diameter where the tab can wrap around it fully to engage the velcro. There is also no vent for wind if that's important to you.But overall, this is a high quality umbrella and feels like it will last a long time. I'm quite pleased with it. I will update this review if anything changes. Like, subscribe...oh, wait. That's something else....

A really tough umbrella that is also very compact
I'm not sure if Xixvon is a German or Chinese company. The text in all of the product photos for this umbrella is in German, but Xixvon doesn't sound like a German name. Either way, this umbrella is definitely "German quality" in terms of the build quality and the materials used. This is my second Xixvon umbrella. I felt that the first one I ordered is the nicest umbrella I have ever owned. I wouldn't be surprised if it lasts longer than I do. I keep that one in my car so that I'm always prepared when I'm away from home if it starts raining. But I wanted another umbrella that was a bit smaller and lighter to carry in my backpack. This SE version is perfect for my needs. It's small enough to easily fit in a backpack or purse, but the quality is just as good as the larger model I have. If you're looking for a travel size umbrella, this one should be at the top of your list.

Poor quality
Tears very easily as it's a low quality umbrella. Terrible customer service.

As expected
works as expected. Haven't use it when it real windy yet to see how it holds up but in light rain with no wind, it works well.

Great umbrealla
This is the umbrella that sits in my bag all the time just in case and it has done a great job at being an umbrella and holding up against the abuse it faces in my bag. The one-button open and collapse is a great idea that has worked perfectly for me each time and makes getting the umbrella out quickly and really easy. However, most of its value comes from being able to almost instantly get it collapsed and into its bag when I get inside so water is not dripping all over the floor. When used in the rain it has held up great even in some decently high winds it hasn't broken or folded over on me. Finally, when speaking about the durability of the umbrella it is amazing. It has sat at the bottom of my backpack that gets used daily carrying around heavy laptops, books, and sometimes groceries with no issues with the umbrella. No tears, breaks, or bends, and no signs that it's close to breaking either. Overall just a great umbrella that I am very happy about.

flimsy, small tears over time
i only had it one month. and there are a few visible small tears that let sunlight through. it is somewhat windproof but it shakes a lot with slight wind. very thin and fragile. probably better to invest in the top brand with better quality.

Satisfecho
Estoy satisfecho, llevo 6 meses usándola seguido y tiene el desgaste normal, de muy buena calidad a excepción de las piezas que se oxidaron hace poco por que quedaron expuestas al agua por mucho tiempo.

Very good build quality.
I was after a small umbrella to fit a rucksack, however as most umbrellas don't usually last long I didn't want to spend much. This item is normally very expensive but was available in black only for under £10!!!. The build quality is what you would expect for a normally experience product. Because it's so well made it is not that light but it should be better in the wind as a reasult. My only negative would be its hard to wrap up due to the thickness of the material.Highly recommend especially at this price.

Well constructed and good price
I bought it mainly for the anti-UV features but was pleasantly surprised by its sturdy and inventive construction. Bought two, will definitely buy more as needed.
