From the moment I opened the package, feathers everywhere. Tried the trick of using hairspray to secure with no help. I left a mess everywhere I went. Never again.

This item sheds straight out of the package...then it continues to shred. I was hesitant to run it through the washing machine. Ran it through the dryer for 20 minutes to allow loose feathers to blow off. Thought I was fine. Boa looked fabulous and full over my evening gown. Then...there was a trail everywhere I walked! Feathers at the elevator, dinner table, in my teeth, on the chair and the floor around my seat in a ballroom! I threw it away while still at the gala. I wouldn't chance someone finding it and taking it to lost & found, causing a new trail LOL A friend told me later that I was supposed to spray it with hairspray. Who knew?! I was more concerned with cutting off the finished/unfinished ends.

I took them outside and shook them a little to get rid of any loose feathers then used them to decorate the tree. They are perfect for my peacock tree.

When it arrives it is very fluffy (I ordered the red one). I haven’t worn it yet but I am wearing it for a concert and I’m having high hopes for it. Yes, it does leave a little bit of feathers when you pick it up but that happpens to every boa so don’t worry! Edit: It’s amazing! Does leave feathers and it did not leave color on my white cardigan! I wore it to a Harry styles concert and it looked amazing! You should buy it guys!
