Water-Based Varnish 1.18 Ounce-Gloss

When I received the jar of varnish, it appeared rather liquidy.  Weeks later, when I opened it, it was thick, dry, and pasty.  The label said to keep it away from heat or cold, and I wondered if it had just been stored in a slightly cool place too long.  I filled a bowl with warm water, and set the jar down in it (not submerged, but just so the water came almost to the lid).  After the water came to room temperature, I warmed the water again and repeated the process several times.  The varnish slowly returned to a liquid consistency, and was ready to use. Used this to glaze a set of polymer clay crochet hook handles. I did two coats of varnish, and it created a beautiful, glossy finish. Will definitely use again, but this jar will last a long time.

Unlike the old varnish the new material takes two coats. The result seems to be just as good though

I liked it ,just not enough. I thought the bottle held more.

I use this gloss to protect and add some shine to my finished polymer clay pendants/earrings.

Quality

Didn’t realize how small the bottle was but that’s not really my issue. If there’s a crease in something, the liquid will build up in that crease and it doesn’t dry completely clear in the creases. Other than that it’s a good product for protection. It’s almost like a water glue..

Love this varnish ! I got it a day before the estimated delivery date. Works great ! It's glossy, just like I hoped it would be. Will buy again.

Le vernis est extrêmement facile à appliquer et permet une application homogène et sans bulles.En termes de style, ce vernis rehausse la couleur de mes pièces et leur donne un aspect professionnel et soigné, tout en protégeant la surface des rayures et de l'usure. La brillance est juste parfaite, ni trop matte ni trop éblouissante, ce qui fait ressortir les détails de mes créations.Concernant le rapport qualité-prix, je trouve que c'est un investissement raisonnable pour la qualité offerte, même si le prix peut sembler un peu élevé pour un flacon de 35 ml. Mais vraiment peu de produit suffit pour couvrir une grande surface, donc le flacon dure assez longtemps.En résumé, ce vernis brillant Fimo de STAEDTLER est un excellent choix pour ceux qui cherchent à ajouter une touche finale professionnelle à leurs créations en polymère. Je recommande vivement ce produit et je continuerai à l'utiliser pour mes futurs projets.
