DerwentBlender Pen, Set Of 2, 2mm & 4mm Nibs, Ideal For Blending Pencil Lines, Professional Quality, 2302177

I bought these a few months ago but today i got my watercolour pencils out and then used these pens to blend instead of water. They worked great. I was very surprised as i thought these were for ordinary colouring pencils. I wish i could have posted a side by side with these verses a water pen but could not. My suggestion is give it a go. Another great thing i have found playing today is that it doesn't matter if you use Distress ink pads these pens don't make the ink merge into the image as water does and you therefore don't have to wait till the ink dries in the hope that when it does then you don't touch the line to make them run again. I will be ordering another set soon. I don't want to order too soon as i have read comments that they dry out quick. Mine are still wet I store them on their side. I am not a professional but love the way these have turned out today. Enjoy.

The media could not be loaded. It's the first time I've bought a blender pen for my coloured pencils (I'm using FC Polychromos). These pens come in two sizes 2mm (in the video) and 4mm (not a brush pen).It's really easy to blend with them, it's nice and even and colours are vivid. They're really good value for money and I'm really happy with them

These work really well and having different sized tips helps with coverage (with the larger tip) and detailed work (with the smaller tip).I'd like to see some suggestions from Derwent as to how these can become more sustainable. I suspect the blending liquid will run out before the tips are used up. It seems silly to create a completely new pen when all you need is a way of topping up - as one would with an ink pen.

I love these blending pens, I use them on pencil crayon and it gives a lovely finish.

wish this had just the larger size blender pen in the pack , the smaller size is like a rock to useso five stars for the lager blender with white tip.but 3 for the smaller purple tip blender which i really cant stand and wont be usingincluding both size seems a good idea but the blender with the purple tip ( smaller) is horried

My biggest issue is how long it takes to clean the nib.

Does what it says with vigour - BUT they are alcohol markers that are used for colour pencils. I bought a second set in case I run out because their blending capabilities are great. Good nibs, fine and thick and their tops click well into place. A decent derwent package as expected.

Excellent set. Makes yours pencils glow. Was amazed and very pleased with how that particular picture came out. Well priced and arrived very quickly. Really pleased with these. What to say... I love those. They will blend alcohol ink and pencil. Lord knows what else! They have become an essential tool for me. And no horrid smell, nor the dreadful dripping of OMS.
