My box arrived with a missing carboy and a few other pieces gone. Joe Petras, of North Mountain was quick to fix the problem and got a replacement sent to me right away. The mistake wasn't North Mountain's, but Amazon sending out a returned box. North Mountain and Joe Petras made it right regardless and I'll be buying any future brewing gear from them. 👍

Just exactly what I needed. I am very happy with the purchase.

I use these to make wine and the carboy are excellent. My only issue is the air locks; they only work for secondary fermentation. Primary fermentation floculates too much it does water and wine. You also have to make your own air holes in the caps which is very tedious. If they replaced these with the three piece air lock is give en five stars all the way.

Buy a bottle brush to clean. I use 5 jugs in a cycle of constant brewing. The little yellow caps disappear easily. I’m happy with the simple product for my simple project. Sturdy and a good jug.

Received four 1 gallon carboys with airlocks, drilled bungs, solid caps, and a brush. These feel solid and should last, will buy again if I find myself needing more.

My initial order arrived with two of the airlocks missing. After filling out their warranty, they'd sent me a UPS tracking number within a couple hours, and the missing parts arrived quickly. Everything seems well made, and I haven't noticed a single problem with anything I've ordered (I've bought two sets of these now).The jars seem sturdy (of the eight I bought, I've only had one break, and that was my fault for pouring extremely hot water into it while it was cold), and the caps and airlocks all fit securely.
